Wow, this mod is more beautiful than I remember. I haven't used it since the fps drop, but saw it was updated. I don't know how you did it, but this thing is crazy good.
I am using these mods:
Mo's creatures
Optiminer
ModLoader
AudioMod (Rusugami's one)
Singleplayer Commands
More Stackables
Death Chest
Please Help?
You missed one off the list: MrMMods. You're trying to patch into a jar that you've already patched with my patcher (either this version, or an earlier version) That's why its not working. Perhaps you added Optiminer, realised you did it in the wrong order and then tried to repatch? :wink.gif:
Which is the last version to work with beta 1.1_02? I'm using the older version because I'm playing on a multiplayer server that hasn't been updated yet.
But this is an AWESOME Mod.
EDIT: I tried the latest version in singleplayer. I only checked the 'Betterlight' mod when I ran the patcher, but for some reason, the sides of all of the grass blocks are green. They are still the dirt texture, just tinted green.
And I don't know if this is related to the mods, but I keep finding 'holes' in the ocean. There are spots where the water is running downwards in the middle of the ocean, and... Well, I can't explain it, but I'll get a screenshot in a few minutes.

I am using Rezcraft and Betterlight, and rezcraft has grass ontop, but the sides are all machine looking which I like. But when I turn betterlight on, instead of just changing the grass color with biomes, it changes the entire color of the block. The grasscolor is red in some areas, and instead of making the grass red, it makes the entire grass block red.
I'm getting the following error. It's a clean install of MineCraft.

Is there any sort of vague timetable on the new release incorporating Wild Grass? I am not trying to insolently hurry you up, but if you said it'd be at least a week or some such vague guess I'd not have to check the thread once a day as I am. :3
I got it to work. I used Sun Java 6 instead of OpenJDK Java 6. OpenJDK is said to be preferred, for MineCraft in particular. I also did "sudo apt-get update". I'm not sure which worked. Yeah, I broke the rule of trying more than one fix at the same time. =\
I suppose I could try to use OpenJDK and install again but I'm so happy to have the mod working I'm not going to mess with things. When it's updated I'll try OpenJDK instead.
For now I would suggest all Linux users do an apt-get update then use Sun Java.
Edit: Odds are MrMessiah used some new Java code that wasn't supported by OpenJDK.
Anyone getting a patcher error patching bm.class You have an outdated patcher Grass has colour on the side where its not supposed to Known bug, my fault (sorry) ETA on a fix Mon/Tues (laptop blew up) ETA on WildGrass Not been given code yet, will add when I get it. Not gonna rush the guy. Wierd triangles with Optimine Patched in wrong order: Optimine, then my mods, always.
Make sure you do NOT have support for assistive devices enabled. To check, go to System Preferences, Universal Access, and make sure the checkbox "Enable access for assistive devices" is unchecked.
Hope this helps someone else get these mods working!
Ive been using better lights for a bit and noticed that ever since I have been using it, minecraft has been occasionally freezing up in the middle of playing. The screen turns black and the window goes "not responding" (I am forced to end process from task manager). When logging back on, the world will revert to how it was when I started my play session but my inventory seems to be preserved as it was during the freeze-up.
This may not be due to the mod. Correlation does not mean causation, but I thought if other people are having this issue, it might be worth looking into.

I love you.
To be honest since the bug popped up I finally gave in and installed BetterGrass to still use your mod without the annoying green side-grass. I gotta say it's a nice mod, but more of a preference, I'll probably turn it back off after you fix the bug... plus EldPack looks better with side-grass all over the place.
Got this on my Laptop. =/

huh? where was the announcement that wild grass will be built in?
also: did you have a look at mcmod?

Really!? Read 6 posts above you.
Wow people are slow.
I don't think this is a Better Light issue - Either get the 64 bit java version or turn your viewing distance down from 'far' to 'normal'.
