Question regarding The Elemental Arrows Mod. Because I use the custom crafting recipes mod I can't make any of the special arrows anymore. I would just redo the recipes but I don't know how to find out the item ids. So, long story short, I need to know how to lookup the item ids of the arrows.(or someone could just tell me)
Thanks for any help.

Please note, I'm not always sane when I post. If I have offended you in any way, I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention.
1.) Could somebody who might know tell me what the minimum light value is for Light Sensors to supply power? I wanna do some cool stuff that only happens at certain times of day (adjustable by placing blocks in creative positions to restrict light), and it would make it ridiculously easier if I could just plop down a sign with the [light] tag and adjust things that way.
2.) I agree with Quarg that redstone-powered lamps are the next mod that I'd like to see done. If you could do that for me, it'd open up a whole new world of possibilities.. :biggrin.gif:

another thing I want to see you do is a redstone lamp. so I can have proper redstone lights :biggrin.gif:
3.) Are Light Sensors incompatible with the Halloween update? It's not on the first post, so I figured I'd ask, because when I placed an inverter off the light sensor feed, MC blackscreened. I haven't tested any other things, but I figured I'd just ask to make sure.
Hmm. Nevermind. I just tried it again and it worked this time. I even set up the exact same circuit. If it happens again though, I'll make note of the lighting/positioning and see if I can rule it out that way.
I just tested out stacking fishing rods now that they have durability, their stackability can be exploited to repair them depending on the order they're placed on each other.
It might be a good time to look into making it so that only items of equal durability / remaining uses can be stacked, or at least items at full health.
Also, bows don't stack, it'd be nice if they did.
Thanks a ton for all the mods, Risugami. (And his forwarder/apprentice, CyborgDragon.)
Hokay, so, after a few hours of blindly poking the following code, I still can't get it to stop throwing NPEs.
removed because unnecessary
I'm pretty sure that I created my items properly. The fellow that made the chainmail mod successfully used his new item in crafting recipes. Maybe I'm just not holding my mouth right.
Any help would be appreciated.
Had nothing to do with my mod...well technically it sort of did. It was a problem with the previous version of the mod that hardcoded the item into dr. Removed it from dr, then proceeded to use a different item ID. Opening my inventory(which had the old item) threw a null pointer exception, on account of there was no item with that ID anymore.
This does not work, its not updated i keep on getting an error when i just have this

mooman219: I am positive it is not a problem with ModLoader, but with the way Minecraft handles recipes. In the case of
" ", " ", " X"
I don't think that's the way recipes were intended by Notch. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no recipe that depends on the exact position of the materials. Think doors, wood, sticks etc. I assume the recipe code ignores the two empty lines in order to achieve the position indepence of recipes. I think it's the same with
"X "," ", " "
So I think what you are trying to do is impossible without modifying the recipe algorithms.
Actually, this is the exact way that notch does it. For a crafting such as the shovel one, it uses "#","X","X", and sets # and X as the respective blocks. You only include the amount of space needed by the craft, so ones such as chests take three characters, an axe takes two, and a torch would take one (as well as only two strings).
Does anyone know if today's update re-obfuscated the code? I want to know if I need to back up my minecraft files first, or can continue to work on my mod.

That's a weird error. I did not touch the (compass renderer) ac.class, nor did I change anything that would cause that call to fail. Which texture pack do you use? Consider using the HD texture fix.
im useing aageon texture pack, useing the mc patcher to patch it for hd
used one without the texture pack and put everything in there and i got this

Try redownloading my modified ModLoader from my topic.
i did and then the game loads but then it freezes
it works when i put in your mod loader but when i put obsidian tools in i get this error, but i donot think you can help me here.
