Ok.. So after countless hours spent looking for various hacks and that, Im finally giving in and posting.
Is there anything to make minecraft fullscreen at the resolution of your monitor? I dont mean stretched, i mean actually change the resolution.
Ive seen screenshots from people that seem to depict a much, Much larger resolution client, and im getting bored of either the tiny window or a massivley stretched one.
Sorry to bring back an old thread (was doing google searches on this subject), but I'd rather not make a new topic. I made a video which I think demonstrates the OP's problem quite nicely.
See how the UI scales up when it gets past that ceeertain point. Is there any way to prevent the UI from scaling while still making the window fullscreen by either dragging the edges or F11?

The OP is probably trying to ask how to increase the resolution of each terxture so it looks better when he uses fullscreen. I have the same problem, except I want to do it myself, for instance, I want to force the texture for each block from being 16*16 pixels to 128*128 pixels. HOW WOULD I DO THIS WITHOUT A MOD?
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was looking for this same thing and found this thread through google. This post right here worked perfectly. You'll probably never see this, but thanks a ton for posting that, JamieH93. Jolicraft looks like crap when it's scaled up.
I figured someone else might find this useful, so I'd rather bump this thread than start a brand new one.
I don't think this is what the OP was asking actually. I could be wrong though.
What I think they, and I, are/am looking for is a way to increase the viewing distance as well. By viewing distance I mean increasing how far I can see up down left and right at once.
NOT how far away I can see. I know there are mods for that.

F11 Toggles a fullscreen mode.

It doesnt change the resolution like im looking for, It just stretches the client for me.
