I'm going to be working on a C++ version of my libnbt in the near future (possibly this weekend depending on time constraints), so if you don't want to write your own and don't mind waiting some you'll have that available to you. :smile.gif:
Hm, I just search for "Length" inside and uncompressed .mclevel file, then edit the size and map data, save and compress.
