Red team has a slight vulnerability, the stair case is completely unprotected from arrows.
Blue Team has a cloth stair case and a rock one, I'll fix that when I get back.

Indeed, multiple paths are your best friend. And no, large pits multiple paths do not make. A good idea would be platforms on the underside of the island, a glass jump course from the roof of each HQ to the others and an underground cave network. Heck, even varying ground levels would work.
I do notice the ground beneath each HQ has a large stone slab, implying this map is not quite done yet.
I had an underground tunnel between the castles and a few more islands, a path around the main island for flaking and a little more cover. But as it turns out that saving with WoM corrupts the file. So I had to revert to an older one :sad.gif: I'll try remake it tomorrow and make the gameplay more fair for the teams.

The giant holes could be put into use, though, by make a path to each base in them. You'd jump down, risking death, to land on the small platform and go into the tunnel.
