I am considering making a MinerCPP-only console client. You could set an administrative password in your server.cfg, and could connect to your server using your IP, port, and administrative password.
Also, there is no plain 'download' button. It's an annoying system how you link to new changes, considering it doesn't work as an svn correctly.
EDIT:
I mean that the links YOU give don't. The front page at http://sourceforge.net/projects/minercpp/ has one, but every time you call it 03b, which makes me wonder if it's the right damned one.
Hello Unison, a little bugreport in my bad English. *gg*
My first errormessage in console: Error code 0001. Report to dev if frequent.
MinerCPP.exe don`t crashed or freezed, the map saved all one minutes.
But no blocks (what build after the errormessage) are saved in the server_level.dat.
The chat is freezed and no commands works.
I am close the minerCPP manually and run it again.
It works until the errormessage comes again.
I dont no why the errormessage come
I stay still in server and do nothing, but the message comes anytime.(5-10 minutes)

I am also getting "Error Code 0001" now. Frequently. (build 457)
I'm not too sure if it's just me or MinerCPP, but after upgrading to version 455 from a version I got about Feb 6th or 7th, I'm now getting incredible lag. People are complaining of up to 5 min lag.
I'll upgrade to 458 when I get home and hope that clears things up (Edit: or go back to 454, since unison edited his post...).
Sorry if it has nothing to do with the software and it's just me, but I can't think of what the problem might be. Everything runs smooth from either my other computer at home or from the office. :?:
(PS: I'm not sure if I like the new colours. :biggrin.gif:)
I would like to tell everyone what my next plan is. This will be a big step, and will be quite difficult. This is something we had planned from the beginning. You may notice less updates, because it will take me much time to release the next stable build. Currently, build 454 is fast and reliable. Stay with build 454 until further notice.
Currently, every one minute, the map saves to server_level.dat. That is going to change. Soon, each time a player changes a block, the change will be added to /blockchanges/[username].dat. When you start minerCPP.exe, it will first load the base map, from server_level.dat. Then, one-by-one, starting from oldest to most recent, it will begin loading block changes. It will appear to load the map as usual. There will be a /savemap command, for Owner only, to save the map to server_level.dat.
This will allow many things. At first, this only means you can delete [username].dat, and restart the server, to remove all changes done by that server. Later on,
/whodid - Tells who modified a specified block
/undo [username] - Undo all actions done by specified user (dense blocks will be ignored)

I agree, nothing fancy, just a minimal external UI.
I second that rules.txt
Also lava sponge.
Or a sponge that has to touch what it's supposed to remove, and gets rid of all connected. (Like an instant river drying, for example.)

Sorry for missing an entire step.
If i could get vb.net to read the console output of minercPP like i can with the wom client i would make a external GUI for it..
D3 Server! [Advanced, Custom physics / Anti-Greif / RP]

Random improvements.
@bletotum: you can always just go to http://minercpp.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/minercpp/ and click "Download GNU Tarball" to get the whole thing. Just extract it (maybe twice).
Sorry about the poor stability on the last one.

Place two blocks. The 3d area you just made (Imagine it like click/dragging a 3d zone, but without the drag part.) is the guest area.
I forgot how to color the MOTD, so I can't try that.
Also I do not have the kick/ban issues, but I didn't update due to reports of Error Code 0001 yet.
