im not sure what /draw does, i see it in the code, but don't know what it does, or how to use it. thanks to a non-updated website...
Things are moving quickly. If we kept the website as up-to-date as the software, we wouldn't have time to do anything. Just be happy there's software at all.
if you want i can try to keep the website up to date, cause i really wanna help but i cant really code :tongue.gif:
If I wouldn't forget the damn binary each revision, we'd still be a rev. 1 (:
you did forget the binary againg ...
BTW i feel like no ones seeing what i'm writing in here :tongue.gif:
I see what you are saying :smile.gif: I just don't have too much to add until the physics engine is added in :tongue.gif:

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity.
Heh, need to get someone on Binary duty if that's the case!
In other news, I've had a thought: I think black may be a poor choice of color for the Elite's and Server Owner users.
I notice that users often completely skip over lines coming from my name, not because of actively ignoring, I think the color just doesn't stand out enough. It's a minor change but I'd recommend picking something more notable.
In my previous server I was assigning colors to names based on rank as well, very similarly. Guests were white, users were gray, ops were blue, admins were red. Not identical but pretty much the same. But I had set server owner level to a goldenrod color. I'd offset it from yellow to separate it from server messages and /say, but it stood out quite well.
Not to say I have issue with being ignored most times, it would just be nice if when someone asked a question they would read the answer and not ask it again with more question marks, exclamation marks and ones.
We may do that, giving Elites a gold color. That has been recommended by a few.
Sorry for the shortage of updates, I am actually working on an experiment for MinerCPP. I am attempting to thread each player. It would remove lag entirely, and it works currently. Though, it's quite prone to crashing.
Love this server! Setup went without out a hitch, and is easy to use, only one problem, when I set water physics to true, water still doesn't work.
They're not finished yet. I don't know if sand ever got implemented either, I tried the toggle on svn 381 with no effect.
On the subject of draw limits, I think that perhaps it should be 2x or 4x the player level for anybody under op (<=100), with anybody over that unlimited. 51 blocks is actually not a whole lot when you're talking a 3d volume. 204 for a just-barely-trusted user is much more reasonable, both to reduce user angst over being limited and at the same time retain the security such a limit gives. However, overall a toggle for whether draw is limited would be nice as well.
While I'm on the subject, a host of server details would be nice to have exposed in the configuration. Level cutoff limits for different types of users, draw user level limits and blocks per level multiplier, a toggle for draw limits at all, when block physics are finished, how fast they occur, etc.
Of course, if the eventual end is scripting of the server, then nevermind all that, it could easily be done in scripts.

I was just going to ask the same thing! I'd like to help keep the site updated, since I want to help but can't really do anything else (donate, program).
sourceforge name: computermix :3
PS Am I the only one that doesn't see the grass growing?
PPS How about only the map backups are the same version that Omen can configure?

~~~Nope, I'm sure every server owner sees it to, since there is no physics yet
Upcoming update:
/dense (101+)
- Objects placed when in dense can only be removed by OP+. Moreover, /clearguest will not remove dense blocks.
- Placing dense air will not place dense air. Rather, it will turn a given block dense, when in /paint or /draw mode
--> When in draw mode, deleting is the same as placing air. Use /draw and delete, to turn blocks in the given location dense.
Wa-ha! That's brilliant, I never thought of combining guest area as well as /dense functions. Here is a prime example of an update I didn't even know I wanted.
Oh do you have the WoM Client Wrapper? If not, download it at worldofminecraft.com
If you do have it, just look at the buttons above: Press Dump Level, and the map you are in should be saved as level_numbers.dat which works with the current version of OMEN. So basically:
Play a backup.dat,(which shouldn't work with OMEN because of the script format), dump level and edit with OMEN and re-write the other file, and you know where I'm going to. It's a bit more work than needed but it works.
i dont if it's just me, but when i use the latest binary i cant seem to get /dense to work...
also, my users cant use /draw and it lags when someone join :sad.gif:
There any estimate on it being released? If it's too far, I just may very well reinstall Windows on my server.
Modified user colors
- Elites are gold
- OPs and Trusted OPs are a more subtle blue
(This is not part of the threaded players branch)
~~~I agree with this. For now I just Dump Maps.

How do you Dump Maps?

The new features aren't in yet.
Revision 403 contains the most recent binary.
