You can do the same thing with the file in the download for Creative. Steps:
Go to Run.
Type in %temp%\www.minecraft.net
Open the "Minecraft" folder.
Right click the Minecraft jar file, and click "Add to Archive" or whatever to WinRAR, 7-ZIP, etc.
Drag and drop the png's where they need to be.
Load up MineCraft in Creative mode.
And there you go.
LG_Legacy: Thanks. This is my first mod ever, it's good to see that someone thinks it's wicked. : )
Nicely done. Seems you did some edits to the brightness values to achieve the Sin City effect as simply discarding color information would never produce results as nice as this.
But why only spider eyes in color? I understand why water must remain what it is, but gold ore could have a nice smattering of color on it. Dunno about full gold blocks, that would have to be tested out.
It's called BLACK and WHITE Mod for a reason. With the exception of the spiders' eyes. They didn't look right black and white.
Although all you did was just go into any sort of editor and just selected the black and white option for the different .pngs. I'm considering making a few changes to see how it looks, nothing more, really.
