My problem is inverse to his. I reskinned the Creepers to be blue. But they are still their dingy dark green.
However, I refreshed a couple times and they didn't change. What is wrong?

It might sound like I'm underestimating you but just to make sure:
You did the one in creeper_test, right? Also, did you check that the domain (www.minecraft.net) is the same one?

Okay I just ran into a problem, I'm trying to reskin the icons.png, but nothing happens. I know I did everything right, I even reskinned Terrain.png, and it worked. But the icons just wont change.
I wanted to change this white cross in the middle of the screen, and I know I did everything right. So why dont it change?
To fix the "System cannot find the path specified" error, you must open the temporary folder stated in the tutorial and edit the address to look like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\NAME\Local Settings\temp\www.minecraft.net\Minecraft
Now, extracting files from the minecraft.jar should work.
srry for triple post :smile.gif: but when i do the %temp%\minecraft.net on Start>Run it says it can't find that. :ohmy.gif: i want to make and x-rayed.

didnt work :sad.gif: Im pretty sure that all i need right now is paint.net. Ive figured a different way. Im having trouble opening paint.net once i install it. i cant find it.
1) i went into the client file 2) i went into lib file 3) i used winrar to open minecraft.jar 4) i need to use paint.net (for transparency) to edit blocks.
