Mod Name:mob kindom mod
Mod Description:it starts... with a block. I haven't a clue where you get this block or what it looks like, but its called the kingdom block. when you right click it an interface will appear asking what sort of villager you would like, at the start you can only pick zombie, maybe make it cost xp or something. when you select what mob you want, an artificial version of the selected mob will appear on top of the block. you should build a house for it, it will chose a house similar to the method of a testificate, if its an enclosed space with a door and their are no other villagers inside that have claimed it, the mob villager will claim it. these villagers can pick up items, break blocks, and even attack mobs, but first you have to give them a job. with some item, you get to pick what, you can select a building as different places and hire different mobs, available workplaces are, butcher's, bakers, blacksmith's, mine, barracks, farmer and trade station. Most of them speak for themselves but the trade station functions differently then the others as you cant have mobs working there, but a pair of mock testificate's will appear that will exchange items for villager like material. You can give zombies and skeletons helmets to stop them burning in the sun. Different mobs will have different properties, e.g. the endermen, if your having trouble with houses you can have built some inbuilt house designs for some gold and resources. you might want to make some sort of siege system like the nexus mod and tail of kingdoms, but that's up to you my dear readers

Mod Name: D2 Town portal mod Mod Description: to add the original mechanics of the Diablo game's Town portal and waypoint systems Any Additional Information: If you point me in the direction of a good video or some sort of website that can tell me how to implement these exact mechanics, including how to make a gui in the way I describe in the link, I'd be happy to code it myself honestly.
Custom World Generation (Suggested this already on my alternate account, somewhere else):
First off, it would add more ruins, better NPC villages, and more biomes. If you don't want to add more biomes, could you add compatibility with mods like biomes o' plenty or mods that add structures like the ruins mod?
Next, you can customize what biomes you want to spawn, what is in them (for example, replace all dirt with pod-soil), the frequency of each structure spawning, (such as NPc villages spawning everywhere, but no mineshafts), the size of things that spawn (giant NPC villages, small deserts) and anything else that you can edit while creating a world. Edit: Not somewhere else, right here. I'm Golden_Apple_FTW. I just elaborated.

I suggest you make a capturing mod, like Pixelmon. That would be fun. Add different monsters with abilities and capture them. Maybe add ores and other people with other monsters to fight with you. Maybe make a "Miscrits" mod (from Facebook Games). Just a suggestion!
Edit: Sorry for too many "Maybes".
so you could have the AI of creatures changed so when you are sneaking and they are not looking at you, you sneak past them or you could stealth kill them, also having a heads up display to show if they know you are there.
also adding compatibility for other mods?
(got the idea from splinter cell been playing it recently and haven't seen any mods like it)
You would have an EXTREMLY rare ore which would be rainbow colored. This ore would be mined with a diamond pick-axe or above, and take awhile to mine. Using this ore, you would be able to make a Bifrost block (rainbow glass like) put this block down, and right click it to put in an x and y co-ordinate. when powered by redstone it creates a rainbow like image for two blocks above it, and when entered it would teleport the player to the x and y co-ordinate. When the bifrost is activated, it is a two way portal, and at the "end point" a beacon beam like rainbow would come down, and wherever it touches down is where the portal opens. This would make it so that you can beam players to and from a base. Optionally it could be made to work in the nether, but it would require y co-ords.
Also in order to activate the bifrost a golden sword would be required (golden sword with diamonds in it.
To make the bifrost block, you would need diamonds (5) and 4 bifrost ore.
The bifrost should be twice as rare as diamonds.
This mod would be the first teleportation mod like this, and it would make teleportation something which is not an admin thing, but rather a godly thing.
This mod should also be made as a plugin perhaps.
any ideas to improve this are welcome.

edit: using the bifrost should consume either redstone(16 or 8)* or something else which has to be mines such as lots of coal, etc but nothing to demanding

I think a mod where you could have a three-dimensional tabetop map of your world would be pretty cool. Perhaps integrating MC Overviewer into the mod would work? And then in worlds where you travel extremely far distances, you could "upgrade" the table by placing a mod-unique control panel on the table that you can use to pan, zoom, and to focus on the player.
