The dragons have been the one thing that have been suggested over and over. I would say more often than not, the comments have been for having them tameable.
I really love the ideas you've listed for what dragons should be like in the mod. From egg through adolescence to full adulthood. Being able to ride them and also craft armor for them. I also really like the idea of if being a creature that you have to put some serious work into in order to get the benefit of a great asset.
In regards to what I myself would add to this great start, I would like to see an achievement added. With the long wait some people have had in waiting for this mod to include dragons, I think it would be fitting to have an achievement for the first time riding on a dragon.
I think that there should be hostile dragons as well as the tamed-from-egg. Maybe that is some of the challenge to getting an egg is capturing it from an adult dragon in some way.
Lastly, I would like to see dragons of the main fundamental elements; fire, water, air and earth, if not dragons from each of the major biomes ( tundra, ocean, swamp, desert, mountains and nether).
So.... many..... ideas..... on.... DRAGONS!!
Maybe we should just tell Dr. Zhark to go crazy and add whatever kinds of dragons he wants! Maybe we should hand him a bunch of 'encyclopedias' on dragons and tell him to add all of those.
That might have negative results though, I haven't a clue...
All I know is that my head might explode the more we talk about dragons. XD
Well, considering they might as well be added anyway, with so many people supporting them, I might as well state my opinion on what types of dragons could be added.
Note: The word "dragon" is a generic term, which is why it isn't always "dragon/dragoness". It's the same reason why "he" is a generic term, instead of always saying "he/she". It simply makes it easier to understand than simply saying "it".
Basic Dragons...
-European Dragon: is any solid color, four legs, two wings, the ability to breath fire and fly. Hoards treasure.
-Frost Dragon: is light blue and/or white in coloring, build similar to a European's, spews a liquid that freezes upon contact instead of flame, and can fly. Less interested in treasure than the European.
-Dwarf Dragon: like a small European Dragon; is any solid shade of blue, lighter underbelly, red eyes, collects anything(not only treasure), can fly; is one of the few dragons that is gregarious. Does not breath an element
-Wyvern: largest of all dragons, even though it is often referred to as a fake dragon. Two legs, two wings, dull greens or browns, are rarely seen on the ground, does not hoard or breath an element.
-Marsupial Dragon: Similar in build to the Wyvern; does not hoard, breaths blue flame. Is flightless; attacking and behavior is similar to a kangaroo's. Has a pouch on its belly to hold its young.
-Tasmanian Dragon: one of the rarest of all dragons. Lives in rainforests, does not hoard, and can only glide from tree to tree. Four legs, two small wings. Tail is long, and they use it to signal to each other. Their young cling to their parent's backs, instead of inside a pouch like the Marsupial.
-Chinese Lung: lithe, no wings, four legs, maned and horned, peaceful and wise dragon. Does not hoard or breath an element, but it can fly. Is a variety of blues and greens.
-Korean Yong: Similar to the Chinese Lung, except longer and thinner; coloring is a gold.
-Lindworm: serpentine, two legged no winged dragon. They are a dull yellow, green, or brown. They do not hoard or breath an element.
-Tibetan Dragon: Similar to Korean Yong, except much smaller and scarlet in coloring. Also neutral instead of peaceful and cannot fly.
-Knucker: dull red or brown in coloring; does not hoard, is poisonous. Four short legs, two small, useless wings. Cannot fly.
-Bucca: Similar to the Knucker; is a solid color, is very very small(about the size of a silverfish) is harmless like a small slime. Cannot fly and is not attracted to treasure.
-Hummingdragon: Smallest dragon; the color of flowers on which they feed. Harmless, does not hoard treasure or breath an element. Also one of the nicest of the dragons.
-Mexican Ampithere: serpentine dragon, no legs, two wings. One of the few dragons with feathers on them. Hoards treasure, is neutral unless approached too closely. Breaths fire, rarely seen on the ground. Is mostly shades of blue and green.
-American Ampithere: similar to Mexican Ampithere, except gregarious, with bright yellow eyes and any solid color. Sports less feather and has leathery wings. Does not hoard as much.
-Sea Serpent: Not often regarded as a true dragon, it is a serpent that lives in the ocean. Does not hoard, or breath an element. Is any shade of blue or teal.
-Gargoyle: Not often regarded as a true dragon. Is any shade of grey, turns to stone during the day and comes awake at night. They are neutral, do not hoard treasure, and do not breath an element.
-Hydra: Is a dragon with any more than 1 head on its body. Hydras can have from 2-7 heads. Some even have massive chests to support 10 heads! They're coloring and habits same as a European's. Depending on the head type, the hydra will have different elemental abilities.
Rarer Elemental Dragons...
Note: These are all called "Fanwings" because they all have two legs and two wings; the term "Fanwing" refers to the fact that the wing membrane goes all the way to the tip of their tail. If one watches a Fanwing fly, they look like giant triangles in the sky.
-Fire Fanwing: Spews fire, is fire and lava resistant
-Earth Fanwing: Morphs the landscape(can be configurable to not do so). Cannot suffocate in blocks. It also creates plants around it.
-Water Fanwing: Spews water; when flying water droplets drop down from it onto the surrounding landscape. Cannot drown.
-Air Fanwing: Never lands, like the EnderDragon. Is hard to approach due to the gales it can cause. If it does manage to touch the ground it stays there only briefly, destroying decorative blocks such as flowers and grass because of its air-related abilities. Cannot take fall damage(for you can knock it out of the sky with enough effort)
-Lightning Fanwing: Appears only during thunderstorms. Will shoot lightning at the player, is fire resistant.
-Darkness Fanwing: Appears only when in a big enough space at least 20 blocks from bedrock. Has black particles similar to the Nether Portal's coming off of it. Will coat things in Liquid Darkness(looks like retextured snow with the End Portal particles). If Liquid Darkness is touched, it will apply the Wither Effect to the player.
-Light Fanwing: only appears during the day at cloud level or higher. They display particles similar to the Nether Portal's except its white. When touched, will heal the player instantly, as well as apply +speed and +strength potion effects.
-Boulder Fanwing: Appears only on stone in any light level, preferably darkness. Is like Earth; will morph the landscape. It will not create plants and will often pick fights with ogres.
...As well as many other elemental dragons.
There are also all of the dragons from Manimal_ty's idea. There are also a bunch of dragons that are in the back of my mind, but I am too tired to notice them right now. I may update my dragon post later. Oh, and before I forget:
Growth...
-Hatchling: can't breath element/use poison or fly if that particular species can do either. 1/4 the adult's size.
-Drake(male) or Drakka(female): can't fly but can breath element/use poison if that particular species can do either. 1/2 the adult's size.
-Dragon(male) or Dragoness(female): Can fly and and breath element/use poison if that particular species can do either. Adult size.
Elementals can use their abilities at any age.
You can breed certain dragons/use essences on certain dragons to obtain different types of dragons. All of the dragons can lay eggs. Breeding/essence usage can simplify the process.
Dragons can be tamed with their respective prey-meat. You can only get an elemental by breeding/essence usage or by hatching a stolen egg. Two different elementals won't breed with each other; two same elementals can. Two dragons of the same type will always have an egg of their type. Two different dragons breeding together will either have an offspring with a 1/2 chance of being one parent or the other, or if the breeding produces a special dragon, a 1/10 chance of it being the special dragon(configurable with the in game settings). you can also use an incubator to hatch the eggs quicker than letting the parents take care of them. You can speed grow a hatchling by feeding it its respective prey meat. Elementals can't be speed grown (fed until they're mature. You can do this with horses by feeding them wheat).
You can craft armor for your dragon, as well as ride it(assuming it's big enough). Some dragons can carry up to three riders, some can only carry one. It all depends on the dragon. You can use your dragon's special ability, if it has one that is, by pressing "R". If your inventory key it "I", like it was before the more recent updates(I don't remember when it was changed), then the best key for it to be would be "E". If your dragon has more than one special ability, then area effect abilities would be "X" while directional abilities would be "R"(or "E"). If a dragon can support more than one rider, it needs more than one saddle.
Since Dr. Zhark seems to be willing to add dragons if there are enough "yes" votes on them, then I'm all for supporting them. I may update this post later. Add a bunch more dragons. Like we don't have enough.
I hope that at least the Red Dragon Mojang was supposedly going to add gets put in. I've been waiting for that thing for forever!
different cats
you know different models of cats, longhairs short hairs, munchkins Balinese etc.
you can cross breed them like horses and there are rare breeds like austrailian mist and toyger etc. and there will be a breeding chart and you can get super rare cats by giving a toyger essences
undead: phantom cat
fire: nether cat
darkness: shadow cat
light: given to super rare cats if you give to a phantom cat an angel cat, nether cat an air cat and a shadow cat is a light cat
shadow dragon:
this dragon is just as rare as a golden and is found strictly in the end(maybe if not then the nether). this dragon is not hostile nor passive and only attacks if attacked or you steal one of its eggs.can be tamed as a hatchling kid teen or fully grown. is about twice as big as a horse and has large green eyes. its nocturnal and is mostly black but can rarely be found in different colors. each color is right under the point of black. depending on the color is how it attacks (like black shadow breath red fire purple poison etc). is the fastest of all the dragons due to its bullet shaped body and large wings. is nocturnal and can only be hatched at night. if you tame an adult dragon it will let you pick up its eggs. you can do this by crafting a leather egg bag and right clicking on it with the bag. one bag can hold up to 3 eggs. once you have the eggs in the bag you can put it over your soldier by pressing "O" press again to take it off. you can ride your dragon with a special saddle (normal horse saddle that is crafted with the essence of fire).
breeding guide:
to breed you need two dragons of the same species and no other dragons around (like horses).
feed them both any kind of meat
one of them will get eggs and need a nest to rest. you can find a wild dragons nest with no eggs and take that or craft a nest.(ill put the recipe later)
it will take 2-4 in game days to hatch and 3-4 in game days to grow to the next stage (so all together it will be 9-12 days to be an adult)
riding guide:
you need a special saddle to ride one (a horse saddle with fire essence no recipe)
once you're riding a dragon walking is just like normal except you cant go sideways
to fly you have to point up and hold space.
once your in the air you cant go sideways or back only up down and forward. the dragon is easy to control all you need to is hold space and the dragon will go whatever way your facing. to use the dragon's attack you press f for fire or m for melee.

a new tab(s) in creative menu for this mod, possibly multiple tabs for species sorting.
examples: [primates][aquatic][amphibians][insects][aviary][arctic][outback]
wait i forgot to read the growth thingy before i posted it so im telling you now
i like the idea of male and female dragons but we have to tell the difference between them
like females are smaller, dont have horns and are superior at flying to the males
the males are bigger and have horns and spikes going from the beginning of their neck to the tips of their tail
Another vote for a bison/buffalo type mob as well as beavers. I personally do not like having to install another creature mod (Atmos) on top of this one just for those 2 mobs!
I make the creatures for Mo'Creatures mostly ever since the Ostriches
and then I negotiate with Dr.Zhark about what they should be able to do, what drops to have and we discuss back and forth a little before settling down on something that he can start coding and animate and sometimes we send a couple of messages with ideas, alterations and suggestions that we thought of as he is implementing the creature and as I make whatever icons are needed for drops, weapons and such
I have some ideas about dragons, and looking at the votes this early it would seem that people would like to have them be a part of Mo'Creatures
but I would love to have the fans come with suggestions and the likes
I cannot promise to include the ideas and all that, but I will definitely consider what is suggested
they will (unless someone comes up with something brilliant) be tamable, rideable and able to wear armors made for them
I had a thought that they are able to age
so that you start out with an egg
it hatches and you have a baby dragon (not rideable yet) and then it grows/go through different looks (older and more adult looking version of that particular dragon) until it reaches it's full size as a fully adult variant of whatever particular egg you got
I do not think it will be an animal for the impatient...
about colourations, types and abilities we have this so far, any thoughts?
Last I need to emphasize that we are just talking about it, no promises are made yet.
Here's my ideas on the dragons mob block daddy I've posted it a couple times and people seem to like it. Agian, just a suggestion. Thanks for considering!
Dragons
Dragons-rare, very large reptile. Lots of HP, and do great damage. Different types depending on biome. All dragons can be ridden (running and flying(except the cave and emerald)) when tamed and have room for an inventory, except cave dragons and emerald dragons. When killed, they drop dragon scales 2-5 and dragon meat 2-4. Dragon scales are used to make dragon armor (same protection as diamond) and dragon saddles. Dragon meat can be cooked to restore 4 hunger or given to baby dragons that the player hatches with a medallion.
Location- dragons are found in mating pairs on “Breeding Islands” which are small islands floating in the air roughly at cloud level over a certain biome (that biome being what type of dragon they are, except cave, lava, and fairy dragons). The islands have a 50% chance of spawning in any biome and are made of 1-2 layers of stone and 3-4 layers of dirt, being also the max of 20x20x7 and the smallest of 12x12x5. They contain two adult dragons, male (smaller than the female, but brighter in color) and female (larger than the male and more dull colored) a nest with 1-4 eggs or hatchling, which can be stolen or taken when the dragons are killed. The player will throw the egg down like chicken eggs, having around a 25% chance to spawn a baby dragon the same color as the adult or when put into a incubator (crafting guide below) (depending on the dragon egg's "race") the chance of hatching a baby dragon will increase to 90%. Dragons can be tamed when they are babies by feeding them dragon meat and giving them a medallion. When grown, (taking about 16-20 minecraft days) the adult dragon will attack for the player and can be ridden when given a saddle.
Types of Dragons
-Lava Dragon=Red: Lives in or near lava, fireproof, breathes fire that has a 50% chance to catch the player or blocks around them on fire. In the Nether or in the real world (only single, no nests), hiding in lava. A four-legged beast with two wings, a long tail, and horns. The lava dragon’s nests are small islands over the middle of lava oceans in the nether and are a favorite mount of dragonians.
-Night Dragon=Black: Spawn at night or in the Nether rarely, very aggressive, has breath of darkness attack. A four-legged beast with two wings, almost no tail, and horns, being able to carry up to two riders.
-Mountain Dragon=Brown: Lives in mountain biomes, avoids being in sight of player, but attacks if player comes close by breathing tons of tiny pebbles, each doing around .25 hearts. This dragon looks like a small mountain, until it moves, transforming into a four legged beast covered in small, cracked rocks with two wings, a long tail, and horns.
-Water Dragon=Blue: Lives in water, usually ocean biomes, but sometimes spawning in underground reservoirs. Has water jet breath attack. Can grab player and attempt to drown them. This dragon has the appearance of a long lizard with tentacles, but with long rudder like limbs and long skinny wings. When flying rain comes from its wings and falls on everything under it.
-Emerald Dragon=Green: Smaller than most dragons, lives in forests, does not attack unless provoked. Uses biome colors to change its appearance, varying from light to dark green (light green-plains, green-forests, dark green-swamp, very bright green- jungle). These dragons shoot venom from its long, sharp fangs, infecting the player with a lethal poison. This dragon resembles a wyvern, having two legs, two wings, three long, skinny tails, and long, skinny horns and fangs coming from of its head. They climbs tree very rapidly, going sideways and upside-down until reaching the top when it leaps off and glide away from attackers, not being able to fly for real.
-Snow Dragon=White: Lives in Tundra biomes, freezes water, causes snow storms, and has lots of health lots of health. Resembling a snow mound until provoked or tread upon, then it turns into large, very fast form of a wyvern with four wings and two tails. When attacked, they shoot a spray of ice and snow, slowing the player and having a 10% chance of encasing them in a block of ice, freezing the player in place until they break out. The tundra equivalent is slightly larger than the cold forest version.
-Cave Dragon=Gray: The smallest of Dragons, lives in caves, very aggressive in protecting its territory. Can dig through stone and also breath liquid metal and burning the player. These dragons have four squat legs, two tiny wings that don't work, a wide, fat body, and a very square head on a short, fat neck. This dragon takes damage in direct sunlight after a minute. Despite its appearance, not being to fly has made this dragon into a formidable runner, going faster than any type other mount
-Gold Dragon=Yellow: Rarest, largest, and toughest of all dragons, lives primarily in desert, but sometimes seen flying across biomes to get to a new desert. This dragon looks like the ancient Chinese dragons and breaths lightning on attackers, dizzying them and sometimes burning them for extra damage. Though not having wings, gold dragons can still fly. This dragon can carry up to three players and has extra room in its inventory.
-Fairy Dragon=pink: Seen flying in any biome, these dragons are extremely friendly. Fairy dragons have four dainty little legs, two butterfly wings, a small skinny body, and small curly horns. The player can change the color of their fairy dragon by right clicking it with any dye. The only way to get a tamed fairy dragon is to get its eggs. Fairy dragons only fly around, only touching the ground to fight something on the ground, so they don't have a nest. The only way to get fairy dragon eggs is by letting it kill your fairy horse. When the dragon kills your horse, it will make a nest where the horse corpse was and lay 1-4 eggs in the nest, which you can steal after killing the dragon, or you can sneak to steal the eggs.
Mushroom Dragon=red/brown: can only be found in mushroom biomes, these dragons attack by spiting boiling hot mushroom soup. They are smaller than most dragons, and are covered in mushrooms. Can be sheared to get mushrooms (they grow back, then able to shear again, like sheep).
Dragonians-these are the nether equivalent of dragons (except for the night and lava), but they are humanoid dragons, standing on two legs, reddish-brown, small wings, but able to fly for short time periods. Can sometimes be found riding lava dragons, or night dragons on occasion. There is a .1% of them dropping a dragonian egg, which can be incubated in a lava dragon’s incubator and hatched to become a smaller dragonian which will fight for you. (If you have two dragonians, you can breed them by giving them lava buckets.)

Dragonmelon- a blue and red striped looking melon that drops a whole dragonmelon when broken. Used to breed dragons. Dragonmelon seeds can be crafted by putting melon seeds, pumpkin seeds, lapis lazuli, & red dye in a crafting table.
Dragon Breeding- Breeding dragons is much like horses, requiring them to be put within 4 block of each other, requiring the minimum of 8 block away from other dragons and other mobs, and requiring them to be fed dragonmelon. The outcome of breeding different types of dragons is much like breeding dolphins, but instead of having a genetic value, dragons have colors. Like a color scale, the combination of colors will have a 25% chance to be a result in their baby (example- breeding a blue dragon and a gold dragon will have a 25% of producing a green dragon). After breeding, both dragons become sterile, unless you turn on Easy Dragon Breeding in the Mod Options section in setting. Also after breeding, the mating pair of dragons will construct a nest, from which you can take the eggs after they grow to the right size, which takes about 2 minecraft days. The bred eggs have a 100% chance to hatch a new baby dragon, unless taken from the nest before the full 2 days. If the eggs are taken before the full 2 days, they act like wild eggs, only having a 25% chance, unless put in an incubator. Once hatched, they will grow through 4 life stages, each taking about 4-5 minecraft days. The stages of life can be boosted by giving them raw dragon meat (32 pieces= one stage). The stages are Hatchling, Wyrmling, Drake, and Dragon.
Hatchling (1st stage-baby)- a little bigger than a chicken and all dragons will be skin colored with tiny, unmoving wings
Wyrmling (2nd stage-child)-about as big as a pig, light color version of the adult, slightly bigger wings, movable, but not ridable
Drake (3rd stage-teen)-about as big as a horse, same color as the adult, medium wings, ridable by only one player, no matter how many they can carry as an adult.
Dragon (4th stage-adult)-about twice as big as a horse, big wings, can be ridden by the max number of players for that species, and able to breed.

Riding Dragons- All dragons can be ridden when tamed (hatched by the player) and some can be ridden with multiple people (gold and night). To ride a dragon, it requires a special saddle called a dragon saddle. Dragons that can carry more then one require more than one saddle to do so.
I like the suggestions about putting dragons in a separate mod, but here's what I was Thinking also:
Mo' Creatures: Dragons- a separate mod, with just dragons and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Horses-a separate mod, with just horses and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Big Cats-a separate mod, with just big cats and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Ocean Animals-a separate mod, with just fish, sharks, dolphins, rays, etc. and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Ostriches-a separate mod, with just ostriches and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Harmful Mobs-a separate mod, with just all the mobs that spawn at night, in caves, or in the nether that are also harmful (excluding the horse mobs) and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Insects-a separate mod, with just bees, flies, butterflies, etc. and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Birds-a separate mod, with just birds and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creatures: Cats and Dogs-a separate mod, with just Mo' Creatures cats and (hopefully in the furture) dogs and the items associated with them, compatable with the real Mo' Creatures mod
Mo' Creaturs: etc...
Basicallly, the big important mobs in their own personal mods, compatible with the real Mo' Creatures mod so the player can pick and choose what mobs he/she wants by themselves, while all the mobs are still in the real mod.
Hey again BlockDaddy, if you do put dragons into the game are all of them going to be tameable? either directly or like kind of like with sharks, you cant tame them directly but there's a chance killing one will drop an egg of it from which you can hatch and tame? Also how big and how rare are we talking about with dragons? Because i personally would despise seeing a bunch of giant terrorizing destructive dragons flying around my worlds. =/ Finally, if you do put dragons into the mod can you have hatchable eggs obtainable in survival AND spawn eggs that spawn the full grown dragon?

That sounds okay Manimal_ty as long as there's still a "mo' creatures complete" mod version that includes everything. But dont get your hopes up because 1. if you wanted only certain mobs simply turn every other mobs spawn rate off (DERP on your part not thinking of that). and 2. It sounds like dividing mo' creatures animals into like 10 different mods would be a real pain in the rear for DrZhark, BlockDaddy, Mythra etc.

1 yes duh there's a real complete version read thought it again there a "real mo' creatures mod" which means complete and unchanged
2 I'm not talking about spawn rates stupid I'm talking about the mod is so big, it might be lagging some people's mine craft and those that want only certain mobs. Yes you can make the spawn rate 0 but this might be easier
3 making it shouldn't be that hard all they have to do is copy the mod and delete everything but the wanted mobs and then put up a new link on the main page of the forum

I, personally HATE that idea not trying to like make you mad but the regular mo creatures mod is painful enough to install and I personally just think all of this mod should stay together in one big mod. I mean, you can turn off mobs you don't like through the "global mod settings" so why seperate the mod so that not only does Dr.Zhark have to update a ton of different mods every time, the downloaders of the mods have to install the different mods everytime they are updated with increased risk of bugs that won't be solved right away due to the mass amount of bugs to iron out in the other mo creatures "extensions."
Also here are my opinions on sizes/ages of dragons (I will leave appearences and animations and such to you guys as you always outdo yourselves)
Dragons: Ages and Sizes
1. The Egg Age-
You have just found yourself a dragon egg! Well done! But now what? Well just take your dragon egg and put it in torchlight it will be about the size of the ender dragon's egg. Coloration will be different depending on the dragon type. Anyways it will take about half an hour to hatch.
2. The Hatchling Age-
Yes your egg has hatched woo-hoo! Your new baby dragon will be about 1 block long and 1 block wide (from head to tail). He will of course look like a smaller version of his adult form. He can not fly yet or use any abilities. He spends most of his time asleep. This stage will last about 2 minecraft days.
3. The Child Age-
Yes your baby dragon has moved on in its life a little and is now a child dragon. Once your dragon reaches this stage it will be about 3 blocks long now and how plump it is will depend on the type of dragon. It can now take flight from time to time but may sometime fall out of the air. It can only go about one block high when flying when it is at this stage. It may now use its most harmless ability. This stage will last about 3 minecraft days.
4. The Adolescent Age-
Yes this pet is only for patient people. You should now be able to tell if your dragon is a male or a female based on slight pattern or coloration differences. Your dragon is now able to fly about 5 blocks above ground and it can begin to let your ride it now you may only ride it up to 4 blocks above ground. Your dragon can now use two abilities. Your dragon is now 5 blocks long and once again how plump it is depends on the type of dragon. This stage will last about 4 and a half minecraft days.
5. The Adult Age-
Your dragon is now fully grown! Your dragon can carry you as high as you would like him or her to take you! All abilities are now unlocked and usable and it can now mate with other dragons. Your fully-grown dragon will be about 8 blocks long (It may be slightly longer depending on what type of dragon it is) If it is a water dragon it can now swim quickly. The flight speed has also increased considerably now.
These ideas took me quite a while to come up with and I would love any feedback!

I'm not saying make it so you have to install every mod to keep all the mobs. I'm saying put the some of the more popular mobs in their own mod so people can have just that mob as well as keep them in the original mod. And the installation should be just the same

Sweet idea's mooksie.
Also to manimal_ty - See manimal nobody likes your idea So don't be a rude *****.
I don't really want dragons, but if you insist, I think that you should also add humanoid-dragons, as a little way to spice it up.
Attributes
>The same size and model of the player, but with horns, claws, wings, tail, spikes, manes, etc.
>Both female and male versions
>One species for each dragon type
>Often found near normal dragons
>Spawns in "packs" of 3-5
>Come in different types that mimic the types of dragons
>Will attack smaller creatures for food (deer, boar, pigs, cows, chickens, things like that)
>Carry around swords (material depends on difficulty level; peaceful=no spawn; easy=wood and stone; normal=wood, stone, gold, iron, possible enchanted; hard=wood, stone, gold, iron, diamond, mo'creatures weapons, possible enchanted (higher chance than normal))
>Peaceful to player unless provoked
>Able to trade with to get dragon eggs?
>Will ride normal dragons the way zombies and skeletons ride the evil horse mobs
As for the normal dragons, I think that you should add something like this
Cave dragon: walks on 2 legs, likes to hide in the dark and jump out at you. A little smaller than the player and very skinny and wiry. If attacked, will inflict blindness or nausea on attacker. look similar to this-
Only a little leaner, with no spots, sleeker looking with wings attached to its arms like a bat as well as a creepy bat-like face and with glowey bits
Also, as for the more dog types people want, I don't really want them as there are other mods for that such as Better Breeding and Doggy Talents. I am not sure if those mods are updated, but Dr.Zark isn't one to modify the vanilla mobs, and I don't wan't him to start. Also I like the mo' creatures wolves and vanilla wolves and don't want them to go
So.... many..... ideas..... on....
I hope that at least the Red Dragon Mojang was supposedly going to add gets put in. I've been waiting for that thing for forever!
I like both of those ideas.
same for the elemental and armor ideas

wait i forgot to read the growth thingy before i posted it so im telling you now
i like the idea of male and female dragons but we have to tell the difference between them
like females are smaller, dont have horns and are superior at flying to the males
the males are bigger and have horns and spikes going from the beginning of their neck to the tips of their tail
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1698011-updated-pix-gryphons-balanced-flight-for-survival-mode/
looks like a crab married a slime and had a slimey crab baby
i shall call it...
THE SLIMEY CRAB
cause it looks like a green crab with no legs

Breeding
Riding/Flying
Riding Dragons- All dragons can be ridden when tamed (hatched by the player) and some can be ridden with multiple people (gold and night). To ride a dragon, it requires a special saddle called a dragon saddle. Dragons that can carry more then one require more than one saddle to do so.

Flying- same controls as flying a horse
I'm not saying make it so you have to install every mod to keep all the mobs. I'm saying put the some of the more popular mobs in their own mod so people can have just that mob as well as keep them in the original mod. And the installation should be just the same
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!!!!!! tank you mooksie for this awesome idea i hope dr zhark recognize your post :P. and i hate the idea of making the mobs in diff mods it will take alot of your time trying to install all of it please don't do this dr zhark
PEOPLE LISTEN ALL THE MODS WOULD BE IN THE ORGINAL MOD, BUT THE COULD BE SEPERATE MODS FOR CERTAINS MOBS FOR PEOPLE THAT ONLY WANT THAT MOB.
Sweet idea's mooksie.
Also to manimal_ty - See manimal nobody likes your idea So don't be a rude *****.
