It's supposed to counter the werewolf. In day, its human, just like the werewolves, and looks similar: wearing normal clothes, but torn around the arms and has dried blood around the shirt's collar. However, at night, it changes into that. Has 4 variants, just like the werewolf, 3 normal and 1 special. The special has red accents around it and can inflict poison and blindness. Both it and werewolves will fight if the see each other, in addition to attacking players. All werebats can fly, and will often dive bomb their target. Can be killed with wooden swords (think of it as a wooden stake) and silver skeleton swords (yes, silver hurts vampires too). When killed, drops the same thing as werewolves, but instead of golden apples, may drop a new item: silver shards. Silver shards are used to craft silver armor, which already has a texture in the mod, but is unobtainable currently. It offers the same protection as silver, but protects better against werewolves and werebats, as well as neutralizes their special effects (fire and the poison/blindness).
It's not textures, as I can't texture on Dr.Zark's level, and the reason its mouth looks strange is because it has two polygons that will represent the teeth once it's textured.
No, Dr. Zhark just has a lot on his plate at the moment. Let's consider, he has at most 207 pages worth of mob requests. And that's including repeated requests of much wanted mobs. Luckily, downgrading to 1.7.2 isn't a big deal, because so far the only updates that have come out are bug fixes. I think he'll release the next Mo'Creatures(with any new content) by the time 1.8 comes out and he's spent some time updating to it.

Hah! You though you would see something interesting here, didn't you?
How about Peacocks? My sister told me to ask you and I thought it was a good mob. You can tame it, it can drop 3-4 colorful feathers upon death, non-hostile unless provoked or if you get 5 blocks near their nest, you might could craft arrows with different effects from the different colored feathers. The female will be a brownish-tan and the male body would be blue with random colored feathers. Can you have the tail fan when attacked or when mating?
This is very good, especially the ideas you have for animals are great.
This would take a lot of time to make though. Lots of mobs.
I love it though! Hope it is made!
My young granddaughter has asked me to ask if there are any plans for a centaur to be made?
Centuars are in the list of suggested mobs, meaning they'll be implemented, but the exact date or version of release is unknown. All we can really do is wait.

Japanese Giant Salamander- Found in Deep rivers. Will try to swim away from player. Will attack if hurt. Hunts fish.
Fire belly Newt- Found in lakes crawls on land sometimes.
Axolotls- Found at the bottom of lakes never go on land.
Red spotted Salamander- Found in forest biome
Hellbender Salamander- Found in rivers
Greater Siren- Found in lakes. If harassed it will make a high pitch noise.
Iranian Kaiser Newt- As rare as a unicorn.
I wonder why no one has ever though to sugest a new snake mo'creature:
okay, there's already plenty of varieties but not a single huge one...
I suggest that they should implement the Anaconda, one of the largest snakes that exists In Real Life, should be half the size of the giant scorpion in-game, and should spawn occasionally in swamp/jungle biomes, sometimes on water as well.
First, I love your mod. It's awesome.
Second, the only reason to do an account in minecraft forum is suggesting a mob that just came to my mind: Thunderbird, a giant bird. Immune to lightnings and with a health amount bigger than an iron golem, it would spawn during thunderstorms in mountainous biomes and disappears after the thunderstorm ends. Two types, neutral and agressive. And yes... it attacks you charging at you, with electric discharges and seldom with lightnings. Drops some giant feathers as common drop (to make a glider maybe other things) and sometimes a thunder claw as rare drop to do a electric related weapon and items (like its own amulet type ¿thunder amulet?), and very rarely a Thunderbird Egg. Tamable only hatching the egg, but more like a sentinel o guardian to a specific place than a mount (you don't want die by electrocution). Eats all kinds of meat, but nothing accelerates its growing rate. Not breedable (to avoid an overpowered feathered army).
I know, it's a too much specific suggestion. But I imagined it in that way. Sorry if I said something wrong. English it's not my native language.
Third, keep it up :D.
Phoenix Spawning: Extreme Hills and variants. Rare. Appearance: Something between a crane and an eagle. Its wings, tail, and legs are covered in fire, and its feathers (where visible) are a rainbow of golds, reds, oranges, purples, and blues. Around 15 blocks long, though most of it is tail. Health: 60 points/30 hearts Attack Damage: 7 points, plus fire damage Behavior: Is usually peaceful, and glides in circles high above the ground. Is hurt slightly by water, and may seek shelter during storms. It will fight back if attacked. Sometimes spreads fire while walking. Drops: Heart of Fire (uncommon), 5-15 feathers, 1-5 phoenix feathers, 1-4 fire, 0-6 glowstone dust.
There is a slightly more common variant, found in the Nether, called a Dark Phoenix. These have blue tips to their flames, and ashy black scales. These can drop a heart of darkness, extra glowstone, and soulsand in addition to normal phoenix drops.
Various Large Birds
These aren't as complex as my others, so I won't bother giving them seperate entries. Large birds like eagles are rather neglected in this mod. These all drop feathers like a chicken, plus special drops if noted. Not all have to be included, if they are added. Shoebill: Two-block tall stork, with gray feathers and a weird wide beak. Might get cranky and bite you. Found in swamps, tamed with raw fish or raw meat. Marabou: The bird in my avatar! Mostly naked head, long beak, black and white feathers. Will eat rotten flesh or raw meat left on the ground, and can glide. Spawn in savannas and plains. Vulture: No specific type, possibly based in part off one. Same behavior and spawns as the marabou. May have a turkey vulture varient with a feathered neck, which appears in forests. Lammergeier: A very large vulture found in mountains, with golden feathers. Eats bones, and can be tamed with them. Tame lammergeiers have a medallion around their necks. Eagle: There can be different types, with different eagles, but for now I'll base it on the Golden Eagle. Eat various small critters, and can be tamed with beef or pork. Eagles can be found in mountains, forests, plains, taigas, and mesas. Drop feathers and eagle talons (substitue for big cat claws, or flint in arrows). Gull: Gulls! Eat fish, make horribly annoying noises. Found on beaches and form huge flocks. Heron: Sameish model as the marabou, with normal feathering and a gray-blue color (based off a Great Blue Heron). Appears in rivers and swamps, but may also show up near forest or plains lakes. Can be tamed with fish.
Parrots Spawning: Jungles. Appearance: Come in cockatiel, parakeet, and macaw varieties. The cockatiel is white with a yellowish crest (???); the parakeet is green with a blue head and black speckles (wild budgie); and the macaw is yellow, red and blue (blue-and-gold macaw). Health: 11 health/5.5 hearts. Attack Damage: 2 health/1 heart. Behavior: Fly about and squawk, mostly. They can be tamed with an apple. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I would like parrots to have a small chance of learning noises they hear, and occasionally repeating them. Drops: 0-2 feathers.
Phoenix Feather
Phoenix feathers, when crafted with a bit of iron, make a torch with double the light radius (Phoenix Torch). They can also be crafted with themselves to make blaze powder, with iron and a stick for a phoenix arrow (sets the target on fire, flies straighter), and made into fire-resistant, unbreaking armor (don't question it).
Are sort of a reddish-gold color.
Bird Cage
Come in two versions. The small version is 1x1, and only holds the small birds in the current version. The large version is 2x2, and can hold the large birds and parrots detailed above (but not storks and herons). Kind of like a fish bowl.
First, you need screens, which are made by putting four string in a crafting table. Putting a plank block on the top-middle and bottom-middle of the crafting GUI, plus three screens on either side, makes a small bird cage. Putting four of these in a crafting table makes a large one.
This needs to happen, I need this addition. If we do get it, it will have bird cages hanging from my deck outdoors.
-Frogs There is 3 type of frog,Toad,Dart Frog, and Frog.Toads have a lower spawn chance then frogs and are similar to frogs but are bigger and come in 3 colors:Brown,Green, and Spotted (Brown white,Black White, etc). When killed toads have a 50% chance of dropping a toad egg.Any frog eggs are similar to snake eggs, place by a torch and wait intill it hatches and you can put any of the frogs on your head like a bunny.Toads spawn in woods.Dart frogs have the lowest chance of spawning out of all the toads.Dart frogs come in Golden,Blue, and spotted (Red black, red blue, etc).Dart frogs are the only frogs that attack, they are agressive and poison them for 40 seconds. When killed they have a 50% chance of dropping an egg and 100% chance of dropping poison, which can be put into a crafting table with an arrow and create poison arrows that work with normal bows and when an enemy is hit with a poison arrow the enemy is poisoned for 40 seconds.Eggs are the same as toads (Above). You can put them on your head put you must wear leather gloves (Crafting recipe is 3 leather) or you will get poisoned. The last one is Frog,Frogs when killed have a 50% chance of dropping an egg. There color can be Pink,Orange, gray, black, light yellow, copper,or spotted.
-Llamas Llamas can come in vanilla color, brown, black,or ginger.Llamas can be tamed with wheat and putting a saddle on them will allow you to ride them.Llamas can mate if you feed them a hay block. When killed llamas drop leather. They spawn in plains and fields.
-Kangaroo Kangaroos can come in 3 colors, ginger, brown,or black.Instead of walking they hop. They attack if you damage them. When killed kangaroos drop leather.you can tame kangaroos with apples and can put a saddle on them and ride a kangaroo.
And im out of ideas and my fingers hurt!Time to go to the mythical forum!
I really think alpacas should be in the mod. It would add some personality to the mod and a baby alpaca would be nice. Maybe they could be dyeable too. They could also be rideable and spawn in the mountains. I mean it would be so cute to have a baby alpaca walking around.
really good idea!
great idea!

If they add Meg, they can fight and be extremely hostile to one another.
Oh, and add the Australian Giant Stingray. That will be very interesting. Otherwise, for you!
This needs to happen, I need this addition. If we do get it, it will have bird cages hanging from my deck outdoors.
I think you mean "Bison".
