Would it not be a better option to set if the mermaid tail could be toggleable to show only in water or not? (Toggle to permanent or changes)
interesting idea I see where your coming from and I think instead of it being toggled it could just be another kind of legs aka when you are going threw the legs it would be like normal, naga, spider, mermaid tail water only, mermaid tail always
but anyways that's not really needed it just would make coding easier
also some thing that would be cool is right clicking to go back on options so say you just went passed naga legs and you want to go back with out going threw every other leg option.
can someone help me with this bug im having heres the details
I play on a private modpack it doesnt have ANY mods that change ANYTHING with the character no morph or anything like that but it lets me see in 1st person perfectly when I adjust the settings but in 3rd person it shows me as a normal player with the object im holding no where near my arm

Umm, that looks like all normal positioning for everything. There is nothing wrong with the images you have posted.
I can't see anything wrong, or off here.
On a related but side-note though.. MPM hasn't yet included scaling of held items with the model, so if you're noticing that, that's known and is under-works.

This idea has been mentioned before, but it'd be pretty hard (Mabye, mabye not) to have something that specific on a bodypart without the game trying to use the same animation with all of the other leg types. It would take immense programming to do something like that.
The version for 1.7.10/1.7.9 should be running skins off the new UUID system, just like Mojang intended. If you're using an older version I am not surprised that this is happening with the change of display names to nicknames overhead. But that is not a mod issue, that is a skin issue that a mod cannot alter (back then).
However, for some reason, when the nameplate is edited on the server it causes models to not load. This was part of my post on pg. 92
Oh well did not know the new code would not allow using that also it was less of the old stuff and more of how you would get the options with a more expanded and complex options in the player skin file but oh well
also it looks like I can't download the mod for some reason can you look at this crash log to see what I might have horribly messed up

Well I did try playing it after updating my java but it still did not work I'm guessing it's my laptops fault so I will try downloading the mod when I get a new desktop some time this year
Hey guys it's me again I had the idea that you could put another face in the skin file but it would be the face that would show up when you use the sleep command, I thought it might be a cool idea you might also have to wait for 1.8 for the skin file with more space to do it but whatever it's just a idea and that's what I like to do is make ideas for mods for the hope they will become a better mod even if some ideas are not good as long as I make a good idea for the mod every 10 ideas it still is worth every second making it for mods and stuff like this
so I kind ranted there well I think I did anyways that's what happens when I get sad after reading some thing sad like miclee losing her(his?) bacon cape because people or some thing wanting capes and stuff, so yeah that's what happens I read some thing barely sad I get sad and I speak my mind when making a idea post I also put this in a spoiler because I think this is some kind of rant section or some thing.
Hi. I'm making rpg server with mods and i have a little problem cause I want to setup the mod for choosing the model just once, so when player choose for ex. orc model he cannot change it cause this will be his race. Is there anyway i can do this? Big sorry for my English guys.
There are no ways to lock models for players. This is a client side mod, and even servers that run the mod version instead of the plugin version, cannot stop players from using certain models. They can still use the entity models, even though there is a permission node to stop that information from sending, but forcing a model onto a player either cannot or simply will not be done.
The only thing I'm sure Noppes would tell you, is that you ask your players to use specific models and then enforce it yourself. This isn't something this mod is capable of/will do.
However, for some reason, when the nameplate is edited on the server it causes models to not load. This was part of my post on pg. 92
I can tell you exactly why it's not loading other player's models when the nameplate is changed... While Mojang now runs skins on the UUID system, MPM doesn't read UUID's, it reads display names.
I believe for this reason, the saving method of model edits needs to be changed to also work on the UUID system. But I believe that would take quite a bit of work, considering there are still skin issues to begin with that are being dealt with. This would mean that not only would the Mod itself have to be able to read UUID's but the server plugin would also have to "translate" or read UUID's as well.
Personally I cannot see that this issue is a big deal and warrants an updated release prior to 1.8. Perhaps Noppes has this on his to-do-list already and we can find an update for the UUID support then.

It's been brought up before, but this mod is incompatible with Galacticraft. It's incompatible with pretty much any other mod that edits the player model.

I wouldn't say "pretty much any". There are a lot of other player model editing mods out there that cause conflicts and will not show both mod's edits to the player.
Animation Mods for example.
Galacticraft is different I believe, because it doesn't edit the player model itself, it adds to it. I've only seen images where a "backpack" model is added onto the player's frame, and that I believe works because they aren't trying to control the same parts of the model.

Well I use "incompatible" meaning both mods won't show their edits, not necessarily will cause a crash. As far as the backpack thing, I suppose that's one of the exceptions, haha (I use the very same mod that adds that, and both edits show up, though if you scale your model, the backpack just floats in the air).

well one thing on my post on the galaticraft forum they said that they would love to work with this mods maker so that they can make it to where these mods can work with each other
Macro Mod seems to work in 1.7.10 with MorePlayerModels. If you're still on 1.7.2, I hear the latest LiteLoader version will fix it as well (haven't tested this, though, so I could be wrong).
I'm just wondering if this mod has any problems with the following mods as my skin isn't displaying correctly. The head is displaying fine, but the rest of the body is the standard Steve skin.
Minecraft Forge
Optifine
bspkrsCore
Treecapitator
Death Chest
ObsidCraft
Litemod
Zen's Minimap
Forge is required to run this mod, so there would be no problems there.
I use Optifine and Zen's along side this mod for a very long time too, so no issues.
The problem you're having is a known bug, it isn't due to any of your other mods you have installed. It's a delay in skin update, and it does correct itself over time if you just wait. While you see "Steve" others may not. Relogging or trying the Refresh button on MPM's character screen seems to fix this, but it doesn't always work. Sometimes you do just have to wait and try again later.
I suspect it has something to do with the new way skins are working lately, and it is underway to finding a fix.
well one thing on my post on the galaticraft forum they said that they would love to work with this mods maker so that they can make it to where these mods can work with each other
Then I would suggest having the other modder PMing Noppes himself to try to work something out between them.

Hi Noppes! You should be able to change models in commands. That way, on an RPG server you could activate a command block which would /modelchange @p orc or something and that would be race selection! I think that would be cool and immersive, and its as simple as a short command (or maybe instead of model its like /setmodelscale @p (orc, dwarf, elf) etc. I'm not sure, but if you could add that I would love this mod even more! (not sure if possible >:/
interesting idea I see where your coming from and I think instead of it being toggled it could just be another kind of legs aka when you are going threw the legs it would be like normal, naga, spider, mermaid tail water only, mermaid tail always
but anyways that's not really needed it just would make coding easier

Umm, that looks like all normal positioning for everything. There is nothing wrong with the images you have posted.
I can't see anything wrong, or off here.
On a related but side-note though.. MPM hasn't yet included scaling of held items with the model, so if you're noticing that, that's known and is under-works.

and here is a link to the forum post that I made on the Galaticraft site
http://forum.micdoodle8.com/index.php?threads/galacticraft-and-more-player-models-2-1-7-10.4471/

As far as the backpack thing, I suppose that's one of the exceptions, haha (I use the very same mod that adds that, and both edits show up, though if you scale your model, the backpack just floats in the air).
well one thing on my post on the galaticraft forum they said that they would love to work with this mods maker so that they can make it to where these mods can work with each other
http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1275039-macro-keybind-mod-0-10-12-for-1-7-10
For RPG server are two essential fashion.
Macro Mod seems to work in 1.7.10 with MorePlayerModels. If you're still on 1.7.2, I hear the latest LiteLoader version will fix it as well (haven't tested this, though, so I could be wrong).
Then I would suggest having the other modder PMing Noppes himself to try to work something out between them.
