I found a bug in multiplayer. My friend and I don't have prenium minecraft, so we used MorePlayerModel 2 and put our skin url in the F12 setings. But I think the mod thinks that there is only one player. When sombody change his skin's url, every body got the same skin!

In theory I could probably make a simple minimap mod sure, but not for 1.7 as in 1.8 a lot of chunk loading things are changing. What kind of functionality would you like a minimap mod to have?

That's so strange. I change MPM to 28-jun, both voxelmap and THIS LINK work except other player's skin. Seems all other players' skin will be covered? Some players said can't see their skin(uploading to mojang) in game after installing this version. Now we all removed MPM, my skin (default) is the same as his (mojang skin). See screenshot below. You sure that's not bukkit plugin's bug? My server is Cauldron1710(MCPC+).

Wait so without the mod you see yourself as the other person? Nope no clue how that can happen and no its not the bukkit plugin. All the bukkit plugin does is sending data from one client to others.
Could it be that one of you is using a hacked client? It's very possible that the mod has stopped working for hacked clients with the new way skins are retrieved from minecraft.
Have you tried journey map? It looks pretty promising.

Yes because the way the skin gets loaded changed. When 1.8 launches players will be able to change their username and the old skin loading was username based so it all had to be changed. I dont fully understand the new system yet, but the skin-url option should just not work for hacked clients they should remain steves not copying other skins. Not sure yet why that happens.
Yes Im planning to add it when I have a handle on this whole skin loading. I have to change the customnpcs player skin loading to the new system as well.

I has some ideas for things if possible great if not thats fine ieas are a floating laying postion where you carry somebody for rp servers, longer skirts, faun antlers, maybe a pack option and for player sounds kid voices.
does this mode work with animated players? also my friend installed this mod got on a server with me, and we couldn't see eachother's horns, giant heads etc. can you make it so if someone has the mod installed they can see the your new player model?

1. Nope. Won't work with AnimatedPlayerModels. You have to pick one or the other.
2. You need to install the server plugin for them to see your models and vice versa.
