Been playing around in 1.8.9. With Optifine, it's mostly working. The only thing I've found that doesn't work are the animations. It doesn't make your model do anything, it just moves the camera view around.
Help! My entitys are glitching out! It says stack overflow. I don't know how to give a config file or something. Also my saves dissapeared after a few days. I don't have player API and have taken out all my other mod and it still did it. I really enjoy this mod so I really want it to work! The old beta version worked for entitys but other people's skins glitched out and my saves still dissapeared. I am playing on version 1.8 No one else seem to be having this problem and that is what worries me. thx

you may have a virus, a world is never randomly deleted unless its hardcore and you died
Bug: When you hit with the blanket arm it's seems like your arm would fly. Also when you use the Plugin on a server to sit on stair it seemed like you are in this stair (then you are small)
those may b bugs, but even if the mod is not labeled as a virus to antiviruses, it can still be considered one due to causing harm to things on your computer (like deleting worlds). find the ONE mod that does this and remove it until it no longer does.
also, if an antivirus doesn't pick it up, try an antimalware

Not sure. What other mods are you using? Do you perhaps have a crash log?

About the bug that causes parts from other players and mobs to teleport to underneath you, usually upside down; the staff of my server discovered that if you turn off the 3d hat layer setting, it stops. Should help with tracking down the bug, and for those who cant stand the bug and want a quick fix.

In the mod it says "Skin URL" in the tab that opens up. If possible can I change my skin on it? Someone tell me how >-<
You just paste the URL to the skin image from a browser in this spot.
This allows you to change your skin through MPM so that other MPM players may see it.

What is your limit on parts for model integration?
I've been working on models that may interest you but I am unsure of whether MPM can handle a part count between 200 and 230 for a full body. I plan to make a large variety of those and your mod offers the best GUI setup for player model customization.
Not having to entirely code my own player-model-customization mod would certainly make my life easier!

This is a technical question to the author of the mod mainly.
Read my post, I'm not asking you if they fit. I'm asking Noppes if MPM -can technically- render such models.
Whether you prefer 2x4's with faces painted on them over proper character models isn't my concern, nor what I'm asking.
If MPM won't include them (Which I expect), I'd at least like to know if Noppes would allow a fork with full credits given to him, respecting his license.
If so, a separate MPM version, packaged with these models redistributed on Noppes' terms would be made available.
If not, I will code and package my own mod. But that's time wasted on coding virtually the same system, that could be spent making more models.

I also don't fully expect Minecraft itself to be able to render such "fine-tuned" models as these. I'm not overly familiar with Java, nor the coding within Minecraft itself. However, if it were possible to have any form of "smooth" edges such as your models, I would expect they would present SOMEWHERE within the game already, but there are literally 0 in the game, even within other mods that have been made for Minecraft.
Also, next time you decide to quote me.. Please don't put words into my mouth, it isn't nice.

That isnt really a parts integration though. Thats a full blown new model. Technically I could get it into minecraft as a .obj file though I wouldnt be able to animate it unless its cut up in multiple pieces.
Otherwise it seems quite low poly so performance wise it wouldnt be an issue to add it, though it doesnt really fit minecrafts aesthetics and as a complete new model it would also not be compatible with all the other parts. So I wouldnt consider adding it to the mod.

It seems to be happening even without any mods other than MPM2 (I just tested and got the glitchy models)
The log only spams the message...

It is possible, but in versions 1.8 and above, there doesn't appear to be an option for adding or editing particles. This is probably a bug.
