Sorry for the long delay in replying, I had to attend a birthday party. I'll work on troubleshooting the problem a bit more now that the login servers are working again.
There appears to be a slight glitch when adding the player ears. They don't show up on the model:
I have them on my skin in the same place they should be for V1. I'm, not entirely sure where they should be placed on the skin, however.
The other settings do show up, on the other hand.
Edit: Nevermind, I found where they were moved to.

Doesn't RPG Inventory edit the player model?
I would try that maybe...If that doesn't work, remove the mods one by one.(it may be tedious, but you will find the answer)

Due to I believe the little rocket HUD introduced in Galacticraft-1.6.2-a0.1.40.704 (or Galacticraft-Planets-1.6.2-a0.1.40.704 or MicdoodleCore-1.6.2-a0.1.40.704) more player models (MorePlayerModels2_1.6.4 - Alpha) is unable to visually alter anything about the player in the world unless Galacticraft is removed.

The BackItem issue not rotating was previously stated to be -temporarily- fixed by changing your graphics to Fancy if your issue was had when you were set on Fast. As for the other problems, *shrugs* ya got me.

Well of course, but I was referring to the very first time you encounter someone. You will need the plugin to "connect" the mods together so they are able to "save" or "remember" what the other player's display settings are.
Since this is the case, I believe that if PLAYER A is using Horse body with Horse Tail on a server that supports the mod, PLAYER B will see that... Now lets take them to another server without the plugin, this time PLAYER A decided to be a Spider hybrid... But PLAYER B will still see the Horse body, because that is what his mod last saw, and what it remembers about A for player B.

Might be possible. Though probably not exactly like the blaze. Im still thinking of what to do with the particles from the enderchibi. I can probably add blaze like particles as well.
Stupid question, but how do you install the mod? I haven't used a Forge mod before, or at least not for a very long time.
Go to http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the recommended forge installer and install forge using it. After that download the moreplayermodels.zip and place it in you .minecraft/mods folder.

Also, regarding the problem with GalacticCraft, the conflict only affects how you see yourself. I can see other players with More Player Models changes, and they can see my changes.

Any new skin-editor for MPM2's skin now?
No need for them anymore, since it's all done via a menu ingame..
Though if you want certain parts to display a special texture, you can still use the old editor. I did to get a proper tail texture for my player.

I can't see myself scale at all, other models work. Other players on servers say my model has scaled but I can't see it. I also cant see any chat bubbles while others say they can on the same server with the same mods
