Also, how does the skin url work?
AKA: OwenConner
Don't be surprised if one day I take over the front page of the Forum Games, and then disappear for months at a time. It happens.

I was going to put a list of words of wisdom here, but I think I'll put this here instead
Also, could someone explain to me how to make use of the Skin URL and what it is? I tried reading the FAQ and such but continuously got a 404 error.
As far as the "only showing the head" bit, are you using solid black anywhere? I've noticed solid black tends to turn up invisible with this mod installed.
That I know of, you won't see the items on other player's backs. Only works for you. Not sure if this changes with the bukkit plugin or not.
Come and join, we need players
Its been stated many, many times before, that MPM is purely an aesthetic mod, and that it is going to stay that way.
Thanks!
I approve of this skin!
If your in the model window, there's a visual bug that makes all of the body except the head revert to the steve skin. This only happens in the model window though, so shouldn't be apparent when out of it.
I've found that in the latest update the skin URL isn't functioning properly.
-A choice between most standard mob hurt sounds. (especially cat/wolf)
-Player sounds before Beta 1.8 (The old Steve grunt)
Visual Suggestion:
-Occasional ear and tail twitching.

Note: My avatar is a silver fox, a natural color variation of the red fox (vulpes vulpes) which occurs in northern areas.
You can bind the key in the controls menu to any key you want.
Nice ideas, but if the ears and tails are to twitch, I'm pretty sure Noppes would ask someone to provide an animation.
I should be able to do the mob hurt sounds sure.
If you can find me the 'old steve' sounds sure I can do that too
Hmm I might be able to do that, but just a warning animating is not my forte
I can do animating it just takes quite a while and doesn't look too natural mostly

It's funny, I have a huge list of mods installed. The ones that may interfere are Smart Moving, Optifine, and GLSL Shaders. It happens with or without GLSL Shaders.
If you pick any MOB from the list, they are all just fine (with the exception that they always face north, even if you are moving south/east/west).
Strangely, I have 2 local servers running. Different worlds. Both came from 1.7.2 and carried up to 1.7.10. Same list of MODS installed. One works, and the other doesn't. I can't explain why or figure out how.
Also happens with SP maps (the screenshots above are a SP level).
Used forge 1222/1231 (just updated ThaumCraft which requires 1224 or later). Running Optifine 1.7.10 Ultra A4 and GLSL Shaders 2.3.28. Smart Moving version 15.2. RenderPlayerAPI 1.0 and PlayerAPI 1.0.
Smart Moving conflicts with MPM.
I love you really.
Please do not approach me (or anybody else) with any hostility; making friends is way better than making enemies. =3

Allrighty then. I had thought they worked?
Is it Smart Moving itself, or one of the Player/Render Player APIs?
I guess I'll have to do some testing...
Perhaps I can make SM a requirement for MPM2, forcing MPM2 to load after, and hopefully overwriting the necessary changes. I'd lose some SM functionality, but I'd be OK with that..
Unless it's just the Render Player API that's doing it. I suppose I don't need the player to be rendered as flying/swimming/etc.
Again, I'll play around, now that I know what to look at. Thank you!
For example, when I switch to a villager, it will only allow me to be (I think) the butcher villager, but I'd like to be able to choose the alternatively-skinned villagers. Is there a way to do that?
this is the best thing ever
