As I feel it's the easiest way to get what I need, I'm asking if anyone knows where the name(s)//location(s) of the file(s) that say what items are to be stacked in what amounts in the vanilla Minecraft files?
My reason for asking is I want a comprehensive list of items that stack in 16 count for use in the data pack I'm creating... whenever I search online, I only find a small list that doesn't even include buckets.
I suspect as much... but it's too much to go through... that's why I asked for a modder to help, as they may know where to look if they have made such mods w/o using other's mods as base codes.

no-one knows this?
last bump?
I am not sure but as far as I know, the stack size is hard-coded and can't be changed with datapacks
But it is possible with mods:

i'm not looking to change it... just see the coding for it... so I can easier make a list of what is at what sizes.
I have no idea - I think somewhere deep in the main jar file in your versions-folder
