Hi
I was trying to modify the alpha 1.2.2a version, and i followed this tutorial
The tutorial explain how to set up MCP for minecraft alpha, and how to import the code on eclipse!
But when i complie the code this happen:
Error occurred during initialization of boot layer
java.lang.module.FindException: Unable to derive module descriptor for C:\Users\...\OneDrive\Desktop\MCP22\jars\bin\minecraft.jar
Caused by: java.lang.module.InvalidModuleDescriptorException: ck.class found in top-level directory (unnamed package not allowed in module)
Some on can help me?
i followed step by step the tutorial.
Exuseme my English, but is a lot of time i don't use it
It appears that you are trying to use JDK 9 or later ("InvalidModuleDescriptorException" was added in Java 9); you must use JDK 8, maybe even earlier to decompile such old versions (Alpha was originally compiled for Java 5 and even newer versions like release 1.6.4 still used Java 6, and even if the game itself runs fine from the official launcher the tools that MCP uses may fail on newer Java versions).

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Thanks you so much, I will try!
ok! it works!
I had to install JDK6 and JRE6!
Tanks you so much
