Hello good, I would like to know how I can access the particles of the rain to change the color, I am making a red biome and I have already changed everything except the rain, does anyone know how?
This thread may help; ironically, they got the effect that you wanted as a bug, though you'd want to implement it properly before changing the color, either by coloring the default texture or using your own, as you don't want to rely on OpenGL being in a particular state (odd rendering effects like this are usually due to some OpenGL state not being set properly, which can affects things rendered later on, especially with other mods):
ok thanks, but I saw it only that there are a couple of classes that I miss and I have not published them so I do not think it will work for me, if someone else knows how to access the particle tell me, if you can not then continue understanding it.
Hello, I already accessed the rain particles but they are not seen, it is as if they were canceled, I leave the code to see if it can be solved, thank you.
public class ParticlesColorRubyRain {
@SubscribeEvent
public void onRenderRain(RenderWorldLastEvent event) {
World world = Minecraft.getMinecraft().world;
world.provider.setWeatherRenderer (new WeatherRenderHandler());
}
public static class WeatherRenderHandler extends IRenderHandler{
@Override
public void render(float partialTicks, WorldClient world, Minecraft mc) {
mc.getTextureManager ().bindTexture(new ResourceLocation ( Reference.MOD_ID, "textures/sprites/rain.png" ));
world.provider.updateWeather ();
}
}
}

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
