I'm developing a mod, and I need (essentially) a grass block. I want sheep to be able to eat the "grass" off it, and have it replaced with dirt (or any block, for that matter) when the sheep eats the grass off, or when a block is placed on top of it. I'm not quite sure how I would do this. Is there a way I can look at the standard grass block class from the game to help me out, or would that be useless?
EDIT: If you can look at the class, how do you access it? I'm sorta new to modding and stuff.

If you're using the Eclipse Environment, you can go to the panel on the Left side of your screen, go to:
Referenced Libraries > forgeSrc-1.12.2 > net > minecraft > block
and look for the BlockGrass.class. It's all there.
Thanks for the help! I'll do this with several other blocks in my mod too.
You're welcome, glad to be of help.
