I want to work more on my World Tools mod, however I have run into an issue. The mod involves copying and pasting builds within the world. I'd like to be able to save builds locally by downloading the saved selection from the server (which I have working fine). However, when choosing a locally saved file to paste back into the world, I need to copy the area data, saved as an NBT .dat file, back to the server. The file contains block states, entity, and tile entity data.
Forge doesn't like the client uploading files larger than a certain size; if I remember correctly the limit is 32,767 bytes, which some files can exceed by quite a bit. Is there a workaround? I haven't come up with a practical way for dividing the file up into smaller pieces to be reconstructed on the server either, or exactly how to divide it so none of the smaller pieces are still larger than the max packet size.
