As the title explains, when you put a mod, it does not give me an error and when the other mod is inserted, you can use the one item for the other mod to use.
Well, you can check if a mod is loaded and then do things based on that. For example, Loader.isModLoaded() method can tell you if your other mod is loaded. and Loader.instance().getActiveModList() will get you list of all loaded mods.
hmmm... I think you can add one more class and do the same things you did for the first mod. I'm not sure if this works, because I never tried it.
