This is a weird situation because the mod is loading fine for me in curse, multiMc and my dev environment. However, when I have sent the mod to a friend to try out he is getting a weird crash. Any help would be greatly appreciated:

Mc might not have permissions to read from that folder. Not sure though.
Maybe try running mc as administrator.
I was the person OCDiary asked to test the mod, and I'm using the Twitch (Curse) client to run this. I created a new custom pack (MC 1.10.2, Forge 12.18.3.2281) with the mod in and it throws this error on startup. I have also tested with only another mod, and I still get the issue. However, I have no problem playing a pack I've added previously... so it's only an issue with very recent custom packs for some reason.
I did try running as administrator, but it didn't change anything.
Huh, welp I've been out of the mc modding scene for some time, soooo.... I have no idea.
That's alright, I still appreciate the help.
I found that using an older Forge version actually works, so it seems it's an issue with at the least the most recent version of Forge (which I mentioned in my last post).

Not doing mc modding that much anymore because I am making a full blown game that does not have limitations that mc has. (rip Magiology for now)
I may come back if MC fixes it's rendering pipeline.

Huh... did you report on forge issues on github?

Not yet, been a bit busy, but I probably should soon, although I want to test exactly which versions have the issue as well.
