In all the tutorials I've seen, I was told to add all the mod content on a separate file and import everything I need. However, since I'm not very good at programming yet, I like to look at other people's code, copy pieces of it to my own, and figure out which parts I need to change to add what I'm trying to add. Obviously, this requires access to Minecraft's source code. Can anybody give me a link to downloading the source code for the latest version, or at least some version of 1.10?

If you follow your heart, it will only lead to your arteries.
If people say that you're garbage, don't let them stop you from doing great things. It's called a garbage can, not a garbage can't.
If you follow these instructions to set up a Forge development environment, you should be able to browse the forgeSrc referenced library in your IDE to see the Minecraft and Forge source code. You should also be able to use your IDE to search for a class by name (in IDEA you can do this with Ctrl-N).
Please don't PM me to ask for help or to join your mod development team. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future. I'm not interested in developing mods with people.
