So with a lot of help from a buncha cool people over time I got to a point were I did something cool with my mod!
If I set one of two integers equal to 1, one mob will grow to a certain point, replace it self with another mob, and that one will grow till a certain point were it will stop growing, OR the same thing but replace grow with shrink
one mob will shrink to a certain point, replace it self with another mob,
and that one will shrink till a certain point were it will stop shrinking.
the problem though is, When i set one of those ints to 1 the growing and or shrinking happens to EVERY Entity of that type on the map!
IS their any way I can make the reaction happen to a specific entity?
Also if this question SEEMS awful it is for a couple reasons.
1: I'm pretty sure that their has to be an effect other than the moder setting the code to change the two ints I' talking about before any code can be set to make it happen to 1 specific Entity.
2: I know NOTHING about this like less than nothing. I haven't even googled this yet, I'm just putting up this post to see if it gets me some leads while I clean or get some lunch.
If it helps, I was planning on the ints being turned to 1 by striking either Entity with an item. Their doesn't have to be on that sets the INTs to 0 the code does that it self.
(actually I was planning on something more complicated but that's much further down the line than I am. the item striking will do for now.)
Please don't PM me to ask for help or to join your mod development team. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future. I'm not interested in developing mods with people.
