Quote from pcr3w» I believe it may be something like this (?). Forgive me if I'm wrong. public int levelsToExp(int level) { if(level <= 15) { return (level * 2 + 7); } else if((level <= 30) && (level >= 16)) { return (level * 5 - 38); } else { return (level * 9 - 158); } } (There's a graph here). ~ Pcr3w
Quote from GotoLink»Then all you need is to add that exp for each level till the current level.
if (level <= 15) {
return 17 * level;
} else if (level <= 30) {
return (3 * level * level / 2) - (59 * level / 2) + 360;
} else {
return (7 * level * level / 2) - (303 * level / 2) + 2220;
}
}
prior to 1.8 this is the algorithm that I used to to convert a players level to get their actual exp.
This no longer works for 1.8. If any one knows what the new algorithm is I would appreciate if you would share
Thank you in advance
No...this algorithm is used to determine the amount of exp needed to get to the next level ....but thanks anyway
I believe you are correct. Sometimes it is the simple things that tend to cause the biggest problem.
Thanks
