Sadly, my terminal hasn't been being nice to me. The good news- I made it through the error thing with help from my sibling.
I've downloaded and made it through Eclipse, though I never made it through the whole terminal thing. With that not being down, the Minecraft folder in the Mcp folder didn't download through.
Now, I'm heading all the way back to terminal where I have to figure out how to get past and through the Forge Setup.

It doesn't even make it to python.
Any answers or tips to get me done with this part?
Going to 1.7 won't make it work sadly. :c In the file, clicking on Eclipse, the Minecraft folder isn't in. It also doesn't have the install.sh file in it.
If after this you're still having issues then you're either having an issue with your python release or you're failing to setup you workspace properly.

He's not using MCP, they're using the Forge that was built around MCP, back in the old glorious days when Forge still worked for me
Run gradlew setupDecompWorkspace and then gradlew eclipse from the terminal inside the new Forge folder. Then try again.
This looks like the old Forge that she is using. That is still a lot like the normal MCP. Please excuse my grammar, I'm not American so I may explain things in ways that others would take it differently.

When you've downloaded the Forge src and extracted it, you shift-right click anywhere in the folder, making sure not to have any files selected (at least on windows), and choose the option that's something like Open Command Window Here and type gradlew setupDecompWorkspace and press enter. Then do the same but this time type gradlew eclipse if using Eclipse, or gradlew idea if you're using IntelliJ IDEA like myself. If you're running Mac or something else though, it's a bit different and manual, as the shift-right click part (to my knowledge) doesn't exist on other OSs.
So I basically open terminal ad type that in I'm guessing? I searched 'Command Window Mac' and some pictures held it.
If you read my first post it has everything from the links to the files and instructions. To open "'Command Window Mac", which basically is called Terminal on Mac systems, so instead search for Terminal.

Sorry 'bout all the questions. v.v So this is what I do; Search> Terminal> type; cd <drag new folder in> (?)> enter> type; gradlew setupDecompWorkspace
Or is it just this way? Search> Terminal> type; gradlew setupDecompWorkspace . Also, the first time I clicked on the links they didn't work. I'll try again.
That first way that where you did "Search> Terminal> type; cd <drag new folder in> (?)> enter> type; gradlew setupDecompWorkspace" is about correct, you just needed ./ in front of gradlew, otherwise you'd get a command not found error.
The wiki takes a bit of time to load sometimes, here is a copy the instructions:
Step 1: Download a fresh copy of the recommended 'src' build. You can also try the latest build, but it may be buggy.
After that has downloaded it, extract it to a folder wherever you wish.
It should unpack, and you should see these files, or their future counterparts.
[header=r] Step 2: For windows, you hold down shift, and right click, then select "Open command window here".
If you have "Permission Denied" errors on Linux/Mac OS, use the terminal.app (found in utilities) to navigate your way to your forge directory using cd and use.
[header=r] Step 3: Once you have a command window up in the folder that the downloaded material was placed, type gradlew.bat setupDecompWorkspace --refresh-dependencies
for mac/linux, do: ./gradlew setupDecompWorkspace --refresh-dependencies
If this doesn't work, type "chmod +x gradlew" then retry the above command.
It takes a varying amount of time, less than ten minutes is average. Why not get something to eat while this happens?
This will do quite a lot of tasks:
Download most requirements (Minecraft, MCP(Mod Coder Pack), Java Libraries, Gradle, Forge, and FML)
Set up Forge, with MCP and Gradle.
[header=r] Step 4: After all that finished, you're left with a choice.
What IDE(Integrated Development Environment) do you use?
Eclipse or Intellij?
Because now you simply run the following command (Windows): gradlew.bat <your IDE>
or (mac/linux): ./gradlew <your IDE>
eg, I use Eclipse, I pass it eclipse, like so: gradlew.bat eclipse
The two different versions of the parameters, are as follows:
gradlew.bat eclipse
gradlew.bat idea
[header=r] Step 5: The final step is the easiest, simply fire up your IDE, and point its workspace at the eclipse folder where you extracted it all.

Yes, that's is correct mam. After doing this for the first time you won't ever see it again.

May I ask another question of what IDE is? For step 4, it says to type in ./gradlew <Insert IDE> , and I'm guessing this is in terminal still.
Oh wait, I'm using Eclipse.
If you got your self an IDE such as eclipse or Intelij then you type in the command "./gradlew eclipse " or for Inelij IDEA you'd type "./gradlew idea"

Now that those are finished, it says to extract, though, in the forge-1 folder, if I press on Eclipse no folders in it. If I open up Eclipse, what workspace should I put in? (Confusing much? c:)
Okay Eclipse, your workspace would be where you extracted your forge-src zip to, and you should have that folder selected. I'd be guess the path would be this: /Users/development/Desktop/Modding Folder/forge-1/eclipse
Sorry if my replies are taking a bit long. I'm experiencing some network issues.
