Hello, I am one of the developers of The Methyr Dimension team. I have run across a problem with the new assets system with loading texture based particles.
If your thread has been resolved and you're satisfied with your results then go to: Tools > Edit Thread and add [SOLVED] to the title. Also if your results are satisfying or someone greatly helped you, don't forget to give them a like on their post.
This is custom and vanilla, that code snipet that I put in is what we used in our 1.4.6 version.

You completely ignored my post. I know this is how you do it, but I don't know how to get the actual Icon itself drawn.

In our 1.4.6 version, we had it simply as this:
It just loaded the texture from within the jar this way.
Though now I've got no clue of how it's done.
Any help would be appreciated.

Quite frankly, I've done some of that magic myself for 1.6.4, but it required some intense Java Reflection which greatly reduces performance.
What you need to do however, is just bind the texture itself.
