I got a dimension going, however it's to much I don't understand most of it, there are not enough comments to tell you what does what.
There are things I just am not ready for, I will be doing the blocks and items and some of the other stuff, which I can do, There's nothing really fancy until I get deeper into my mod.
A general idea of how I want the dimension to look, ....MrBair Gave a good description of it and I hope he does not mind me quoting a little from him.
MrBair: This world has a luscious nature sustaining layer burried deep under a thick crust layer of barren wasteland?
GreyJusticar: That right there is really close, the top layer will have holes ranging in size,
The Luscious nature layer will have pillars holding up this crust of barren wasteland, and the main theme is going to be the nature plants and mobs, similar to the Twilight forest mod.
And before I go any further most of this world will be considered hard mode its meant to be done with more then one player, and later down the line, will work with other API's.
I figured the world would be a bit dark for my idea, so the same way redstone works or Avatar where it glows when you walk on it collide with it that's the way everything will work, all the new blocks in this world.
Now the space between the ground and the upper.. crust is going to be held up by Huge Pillars, these pillars will range in thickness and will be generated spaced apart from each other but all over, never ending these will be part of the world generation.
Every now and then there will be a pillar that is broken half way up, inside there will set a hive type block, these flying creatures are hostile and are in groups of around 8.
This is just one of the mobs, I have others however this mod is the main one.
Also, Psientist mods, all his plants, those will be the main textures for this dimension, I really like those specific textures that he has for his plants, and after I asked to take over them, he gave me a few more textures that helped start this idea.
Wildcaves I actually updated once, that will also be generated in this world.
Wildgrass There will be a version just for this dimension.
Vines There will be upward of 7 or 8 different type of vines.
that will help give you the full idea on how this will look
Now if you have any idea's as well, I am working on a .txt right now to setup my mod idea, it will be in the request area along with this that I'm posting over there.
