I would recommend downloading new bin and resource files for minecraft and try it with those. (aka force an update, and place those newly update bin and resource folders into your MCP jar folder)
I am having the same problem, and when I run mcp in eclipse it crashes. I did nothing wrong. I re downloaded minecraft 1.5, re downloaded MCP, and even tried it with out modloader. What is happening!
Oh please do post it, thank you. maybe its just so long that the computer can't handle it so it deletes it while decompiling. I have re downloaded everything so it is probably our computers that cause the error, any ways please post the code for I don't have access in any other way. Thank You
The RenderBlocks.java missing return statement error happens when Fernflower runs out of memory (which started happening on Mac with version 1.5.1).
To fix the problem open the conf/mcp.cfg and find the "CmdFernflower" entry in the [COMMANDS] section. You need to add "-Xmx512M" to the command like so:
this is the error that came out

Please Help Me i really want to make a mod
The method is empty. Anyone know what this method should have in its body?

Do this before ever running decompile.py and you'll have no errors.
I've been returning true just based on a guess. There's supposed to be logic in there. What makes you think returning false is better?
