I think I could help you with some modeling and textures (if any) but that's about it. This idea sounds great but I won't be able to do any coding, just models and textures.
Anything is helpful. Pretty much all the mob textures are black, with white eyes, but blocks/items need textures!
Aww,come on? NOBODY wants to help me make this?! This would be an epic addition to Minecraft!
Honestly, it's not that nobody would want to help (I personally do think it's a good concept), it's just that from a coding standpoint, doing what Don't Starve has for sanity (as in creatures that are only rendered when your sanity is low enough) in minecraft, at least from my experiences with mobs, seems like it would be pretty damn hard, and most modders who would know how to do such a thing are already tied up with their own projects (that's why probably 98 - 99% of mods in the requests for mods section go without being made).

Actually,it wouldn't be that difficult. It's similar to how being in peaceful makes baddies not spawn. It's probably pretty simple to get the actual INSANITY working,if I knew how to read ticks from MC...But it shouldn't be all that hard.If it is THAT hard, then i may as well abandon the project.
This seems simple to make but the hard part would be making your sanity level rise and fall.
Once again, not really.I could look into the base AI code for things like Hiding From Sunlight,so that it searches the area around your player,decreasing/increasing your sanity based on your surroundings.
I can code with Forge and Modloader and i can create very good Mobs and items and other Stuffs. Im a advanced Programmer.
But i and my friend programming on a Mod, so i have Time but nut much!

Well,if you'r willing to help me,then thanks. PM me if your still interested.
It was a request for a Sanity Meter mod.
BUT.
Only reason I'm not doing it myself:I'm relatively new to Modding. not Java(Although i am still in the beginners range in Java),though.
Thank you for your time
