Quote from xTwilight3 Look at IndustrialCraft 2's rubber boots?
Quote from jamolnng Um, how would I do that? I'm pretty sure the code isn't open sourced
Quote from jamolnng I know I could do that but I wouldn't prefer to do it. That's why I put this on the forums.
Quote from Stewiecraft Is that also why you asked how to do it? I'll edit this post if I find anything, I'm 70% sure I saw someone discuss this elsewhere.
public boolean OnTickInGame(Minecraft minecraft) { ItemStack boots = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[0]; ItemStack legs = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[1]; ItemStack chest = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[2]; ItemStack helm = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[3]; if(boots == null || legs == null || chest == null || helm == null) { return true; } if(boots.itemID == NamehereBoots.shiftedIndex && legs.itemID == NamehereLegs.shiftedIndex && chest.itemID == NamehereBody.shiftedIndex && helm.itemID == NamehereHelmet.shiftedIndex) { minecraft.thePlayer.air = minecraft.thePlayer.maxAir; } return true; }
Quote from Minerboy7 try this. public boolean OnTickInGame(Minecraft minecraft) { ItemStack boots = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[0]; ItemStack legs = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[1]; ItemStack chest = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[2]; ItemStack helm = minecraft.thePlayer.inventory.armorInventory[3]; if(boots == null || legs == null || chest == null || helm == null) { return true; } if(boots.itemID == NamehereBoots.shiftedIndex && legs.itemID == NamehereLegs.shiftedIndex && chest.itemID == NamehereBody.shiftedIndex && helm.itemID == NamehereHelmet.shiftedIndex) { minecraft.thePlayer.air = minecraft.thePlayer.maxAir; } return true; } you can shorten it and change the end effect to your likings.
Quote from jamolnng Ok well there is no "air" in minecraft.thePlayer
So what I'm trying to get it to do is have the play not take fall damage if they have the jet pack on, but the code I have doesn't work.

If you feel like being a terrible person use MCP to decompile a jar with industrialcraft in it.

I believe it's in entityliving, but either way that's for breathing underwater and he simply wants you to change the effect to falling damage. Problem is, I don't think there is an effect for falling damage.
