If Curseforge go for the Curseforge launcher if differently packaged (say does or doesn't have the Curseforge modpack like mod download instruction files) then I'd say just work around that.
MultiMC you can import modpacks like TileEntity said. If there is a packwiz or just mods in the folder you should be fine using MultiMC via those.
If you have a GitHub URL link for the release of the modpack I think it should be able to do it, same with importing from curseforge I assume it can with the url but I don't know for sure. It is possible to just download local and import or download via URL. If I'm remembering correctly.

hi i installed multimc on linux mint and want to install atm8 but i dont find the correct download on github .
i downloaded "ATM-8-main.zip" but it contauns no mods ?
where can i download all the mods in 1 pack that works ?
thx
In MultiMC, go to "Add Instance" - "Import from zip"
Navigate to the modpack and add it
This will import the modpack and automatically download the mods

Same issue with other Launchers like FTB App?
no i can install any mod but not the pack so i must install every single mod thatfore i ask for a zip containing the mods.
These Launchers contain pre-configured modpacks - maybe the system is preventing downloads
