I've been wanting to create a modpack revolving around science fiction for quite some time. The modpack should transform Minecraft into a game where the player(s) could slowly develop new technologies starting from basic stuff like bows, saddles, ironworks(armor and weapons) to more advanced discoveries such as machinery (make farming and mining automated for example) or wierd science fiction stuff. The modpack should also make the game more interesting by introducing new dangerous or mysterious mobs, bosses and perhaps make the game more alive with npcs?
I've already started to make a short list:
-Pam's HarvestCraft
-Quark
-Lapito's Galacticraft or Advanced Rocketry
-MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod
-Bibliocraft
-Quiverbow
-Pneumaticraft
I could make a longer list (because this one doesn't say much) but here is the main issue: the whole modpack has to be cohesive. I've only delved into mods recently but I realise that the most difficult challenge is to make a collection of mods feel like one whole, so as to make the experience truly fun and interesting. I would even rather someone propose a modpack that isn't science fiction based ( fantasy/magic themed perhaps) but that really works. For instance in a science themed modpack to be able to make a small machine before making powerful guns or in the case of a magic themed modpack, to acquire low level spells before doing necromancy. The weapons of one mod have to not be ultra powerful compared to another mod's weapon. I think you get what I'm trying to say;).
I would accept any version ( tho maybe between v1.10 and 1.12 would be cool) and it would be nice if it could be played by two people
I'm a bit lost and would appreciate any help for creating the modpack.
