I think I might be missing something here but how in the world do I make superglue. All the required machines to make super require super glue to make basic control circuit. Am I retarded or something?
Awesome mod pack! Slight problem though, I need to put the methane into the empty cell from the squeezer for the quest, but the quest book does not tell how to do this. This is for the "Filling Cells" quest in the Blacksmiths workshop questline. Any help would be great. Thanks
They replaced the player hurt sound with something I absolutely DESPISE. This is honestly obnoxious and I just can't have a good time getting stuff from mobs while listening to SCREE IIIEE UIUIU ugh I'd describe how it makes me feel but there are children I can't swear on here... so like...
How do I fix this? Maybe switch it back to default or even turn it off? idc I just hate the sound. It makes me want to punch something.
Hello everyone, I am extremely happy with this modpack so far and I have almost 6 days of playtime! I am currently playing it on a server with one of my friends and it is a blast! Anyways, I've come across a very interesting bug and through my research, I've only found one single other thread from reddit discussing the topic which can be found here. The description of the bug fits perfectly with the bug that I am encountering. I have a vanilla Minecraft Beacon built up to max tier so I can have the 50 block radius, plus the regeneration for my Blood Magic setup if I wish.
The problem is that the beacon will not supply any of the status effects to me unless I am standing directly on the beacon or in the Southeast quadrant. The exact same issue that the other individual had that I linked. Although the reddit thread is from 3 years ago, we are playing on the same version of Minecraft. I also have no other status effects going on that could interfere with the beacon and I can confirm that the range of the beacon goes 50 blocks South and 50 blocks East, just not any other direction.
There was one fix from the reddit thread that I found (BetterFPS Fast Beacon setting), but when I tried this, it did not work. I even tried messing with the other setting (Beacon Beam) and still no fix. I restarted my game between each setting change and tried all 4 combinations between the 2 settings (Fast Beacon: Off / Beacon Beam: Fancy, Fast Beacon: On / Beacon Beam: Fancy, Fast Beacon: Off / Beacon Beam: Fast, Fast Beacon: On / Beacon Beam: Fast) and still no luck.
Not only are the parameters of the bug exactly the same as the post from reddit, I also have an almost exact GUI bug to go along with it, except in my case, I have the Frostburn II effect instead of the Taint Poison II effect where the standard regen button should be. My conclusion to this differentiation is that Thaumcraft is not in this modpack, so whatever is causing the bug is defaulting to the same location within the effects directory, which just happens to be Frostburn II in this modpack. While switching the BetterFPS setting "Fast Beacon" to "Off" did fix the GUI bug, it did not fix the quadrant status effect issue...
I have uploaded a couple images, one of them being a snipit of the GUI when I click on the beacon when standing in the Southeast quadrant/on top of the beacon, and the other is a snipit of the GUI when I click on the beacon from anywhere besides the Southeast quadrant/on top of the beacon. As you can see, my pictures look almost identical to the ones from the reddit post, except for the fact that I'm using the modpack specific resource pack ;).
Not sure if anyone will have a fix for this issue, but it is quite an annoying bug. Like I said, besides this bug, this modpack is a blast and great for a long term MC project with or without friends! I highly recommend playing it!
