Pack looks interesting, gonna give it a go. With the tech tree changed, have you considered adding in HQM for a questbook, to help players learn the changes? Also, have you considered the Practicalities mod? It's done by the same guy who made quantum flux, and adds a lot of cool little things.
Been playing some, liking it so far. Found a nice cave system around level 40, so finding loads of ores. If you're still up for more mods, Another One Bites the Dust would be a nice addition. It just makes various other ores compatible with the mekanism processing stuff. I think I'm about ready to start playing with actually doing things, instead of gathering resources, so I'll be back later to give feedback on how the progression feels.
So, I know I said I'd wait for the update, but I've found a pretty big bug. It might be something on my end, and might already be known and fixed, but when trying to make the immersive engineering steel with the blast furnace from its mod, my world dies and refuses to load up again. The railcraft blast furnace seems to work just fine, and I haven't tried mekanism yet. Looking forward to the update

Since updating our server to 1.2.1, there is massive FPS lag only when displaying another character.
When another player is not within sight, each of us is getting 1-200 FPS, but when we turn, or another player walks into our field of view, it drops to about 20 FPS. We tested this with having a person just walk into and out of FOV and watched as the FPS responded accordingly.
Have you experienced similar? Know what mod change may have caused this? We don't want to revert to 1.2.0 because we don't want to deal with the wood problem/etc. Thank you for the modpack!

NOTES FOR PLAYERS
No squid spawning in our pack. Use a black dye and an egg to craft squid spawn egg.
Not suggested to add mods by yourself, as the pack is tested over a year to get the stability.
As soon as you go ingame you will be connected to our discord channel AWTS #ingamechat.
If some item recipes is conflicted, you can use the arrow next the crafting grid to switch between recipes.
SOMETHING WE WANT TO SAY
After ONE year development (Yea, very long period but a slow process), we finally release AWTS.
As a beginner of a mod pack developer, we think lots of new gameplay element.
Try to put our ideas of rebalancing and new game element into this pack to create an ideal minecraft world.
We believe there still lots of thing we need to improve and more ideas can be put into minecraft to make it more interesting.

HOW TO INSTALL?
We suggest allocating at least 3 GB (4 GB is suggested) ram to run our pack.
You also need Java 8 to run.
If you want to install AWTS on MultiMC, Forge version is 1.7.10 1614.

AWTS HAVE quantum flux before, it is a good mod.
But after someone find a bug to DUP items, i removed it from the pack in 1.1.2

Wait for 1.2.0 update, it will be a real game changer.
As i added the REAL progress line you need to go through and bug fixes...

Do you get that when going into your inventory, too? Seemed like my frames died when I was moving some things around.
