This modpack is themed around the best Minecraft adventure mod ever made Advent Of Ascension, this mod consists of 23 dimensions each with their own unique structures, mobs, materials, and generation, plus 31 brand new bosses to defeat, skills, game mechanics, tons of weapons and armor including guns, the possibilty is endless with this mod alone. Also, all mods in this pack are carefully selected to be balanced around AoA and make your AoA experience as fun as possible.
Have you always loved AoA but felt that it was hard to play with other mods since there gear was considerably better? Than this modpack is for you, using MineTweaker I will be balancing every recipe to not only make it fit perfectly into AoA, but also into the overall progression of the modpack. There will also be a progression set up with tech and magic mods, you won't be able to make a quarry until you havee finished Tinkers Construct. If you are someone that goes into the most powerful mods first in order to make all of the other mods easy you won't be able to do that in this modpack.
Have you always want to play a large modpack with AoA, but have found it way to complicated, and have had no idea where to start? Then this pack is for you. I will be using HQM in order to create not only an in-game guide to AoA, but also lead you through the progression of almost every single mod in the pack. This quest book will also feature instructions on how to do everything you must do as well as rewards for completing a quest.
Have you always wondered why things are the way they are within the Advent of Ascension mod? Than this modpack is for you, I will be using the Lore Expansion mod to create lore for most items and occurrences in AoA and other important mods, that are obtained by completing quests or killing mobs and bosses. Why and how did the Eos create Mysterium? Why is the Vox Ponds Apocalyptic? Why are there Four Guardians in The Haven? How did the Living Fungi escape the Mysterium? Who created the entire world of Ascension? What made this world Divided? Find out all of this and more.
Do you think that mobs in the overworld to much in Advent of Ascension? Than this is the modpack for you, I have controlled overworld spawns so they spawn considerably less.
Do you think AoA doesn't add nearly enough structures to the overworld? Than this modpack is for you, using Recurrent Complex, I will be building my own custom structures that are themed around AoA. The Current Status Of The Modpack
With my busy schedule I have been unable to do much work on this modpack, or been able to play many games in general lately. Another reason this has happened is due to the fact I haven't heard from any of the co-developers in the amount of time I have posted. However I have gone back to developing this modpack over the winter break. Since my developers were my experts on tech, magic, and minetweaker I was unable to do much outside of AoA, In the past two weeks, I have written a lot of lore and planned out the quests for the modpack. Doing this has caused me to spawn many ideas that I think will work wonderfully in this pack. However, it has also helped me realize the major problems with this modpack. Until these problems are fixed I will not be going along with the modpack.
1. There are WAY to many mods.
The original plan for divided was to make the ultimate experience that incorporated many mods but revolved around AoA. In doing that I created a pack that had way to many mods and felt both overcrowded, and was extremely laggy unless you have an amazing computer. I would need to redo the entire modlist to make it less crowded and laggy. In effect it would be more balanced and not take so long to complete.
2. I can't change armor and weapon values.
The point of this pack was to make all other mods balanced around AoA and to not have aanything be more powerful than AoA gear. It is impossible to do this without being able to make armor and weapons less powerful than higher tier mods like Botania or Draconic evolution. I need to take out all armor and weapons from this modpack that are to powerful through making them impossible to get in survival
3. I need more developers.
Since my 3 main developers have mostly quit the project I need new volunteers to help me with this immense task. It would be helpful if these people have knowledge of tech and magic mods as well as builders. Just send me a pm with your skype, and you are on the team.
Until these three things are done (most importantly the third) I WILL NOT be able to continue the development of this pack. However I will send 20 people the beta if I can get more developers once the modlist has been redone.

Plus rival rebels is insanely weak compared to AoA guns, please change) Also, add Abyssalcraft, it fits the AoA theme with mildly more powered weapons, great animations, and special stuff like magic (and DRPG too)]

Of course you can beta, I have added rival rebels because it is an incredible pvp mod plus it is super fun to blow up AoA dimensions with nukes it is not meant to be used against AoA mobs more against other player since this pack is server compatible. Abyssalcraft will be added thanks for the suggestion. DRPG will not be added due to lag also it tends to make this pack almost to big if you know what I mean.
Is Rahovart the final boss of this mod? Also you said something about quests...... Custom NPCs isn't on here so......
I have made no final boss, the final boss of the AoA storyline will be craxxy unless Xolova comes out with a new boss that is more powerful. All other mods beside AoA and Hardcore Ender Expansion are there to play at your own leisure and have nothing to do with the quest book. Although I may consider adding Rahovart if it fits in to the storyline.
OK then, here are my mod suggestions: Arcana Rpg, Mists of Riov, and Tragic MC are all mods I play with and I find them to be good.
Arcana RPG will be added but I am waiting for the overworld expansion update. Mists of Riov is a no because the factions conflict with galaxy space.
I have never heard of Tragic MC could you give me a link.

My friend codes he is making an official AoA: The Epic Modpack Mod, I am trying to get him to help with you know what but he doesn't want to I will try to convince him.
Temple of the Apocalypse- A temple with five levels and different spawners on each level. The top has the altar for the bosses, the fourth floor has Olethrodaemon spawners, the third floor has Purrodaemon spawners, the third floor has Meladaemon spawners,and the first floor has Leukodaemon spawners.
Charon's Ferry- A large boat with numerous Thanadaemon spawners and a Charon Altar.
Mobs:
Astradaemon- tall and lanky with a hideous fish head
155 HP
Regenerates every time you take damage near it, withers you
Drops: Pestilence's Claw (rare) and Pestilence Statue
-Famine <Apocalyptic Horseman>
1000 HP
A bloated humanoid with hundreds of mouths
Slow but has long range, debuffs you with hunger
Drops: Hunger (rare) and Famine Statue
-War <Apocalyptic Horseman>
1000 HP
A gigantic scaled beast (bipedal) that has a lizard head and a giant (like 15 block) battleaxe
Drops: Shard of the World-Cleaver (rare) and War statue
-Death <Apocalyptic Horseman>
1000 HP
Your typical Grim Reaper with skeletal wings
Teleports and withers you
Drops: Staff of Death (rare) and Death Statue
Charon <The Ferryman>:
2700 HP
A skeleton dressed in black robes with a scythe
Can teleport, cleave, and spawns Thanadaemons
Drops: Charon's Scythe (rare), Charon Statue
Awesome idea so far yours is most likely to win and I would be surprised if something could top it. I just want to change Olethrodaemon to gaurdian of the apocalypse and it would spawn in the room before the altar in the templ of the apocalypse.

Ascension. It was a wonderful world, peace, justice, and equality was spread across the 26 realms of these magical worlds. Until the great wars. Four all powerful beings with an incredible lust for power swept the peaceful realms of ascension corrupting all inhabitants of these tranquil realms. During the great wars the race for power between the godlike creatures Erebon, Luxon, Pluton, and Selyan turned deadly each trying to control for their own devilish as many realms as they possibly could. The once thriving empire of the Vox Ponds was turned to an apocalyptic wasteland by Erebon after their citizens tried to rebel. The mystical plains of the Haven were thrust high into the sky so none of Luxon's enemies could take the Haven for themselves. The miner's souls in the once enriched gold mine of iromine were corrupted and put under control of a professor so he could experiment on these poor people by Pluton. And the ocean city of the L'borean was placed above ground leaving the inhabitants of L'borean to evolve or die by Selyan. In this great war Erebon is destroying all of his opponents taking seven key realms and thrusting them into darkness. This is where you the poor farm boy in the land of ascension come in, you live in the realm of the overworld where the war is still raging between the four gods as it is the dimension that leads to all others. With all of the inhabitants of this world being corrupted except for the strongest race the Humans and their livestock. One god winning this dimension could turn the tides of the war, though you think you can not do anything about it. You feel like their is a greater being behind all of this madness and war.

Love the storyline Arob, can I make a dimension that ties into the storyline but isn't for the contest? I'm asking because I think Krasaun should be the final boss and want him to have his own dimension.
No Krausaun is copyrighted by AoA therefore I just have to hope that Xolova adds it into vanilla MC. However create a dimension with a final boss and I will see what I can do

I think you should add The Lord of The Rings Mod, Grimoire of Gaia 3 , Mutant Creatures, Special Mobs, and Infernal Mobs.
Infernal Mobs will not be added for the simple reason it makes AoA to hard. With the massive spawn rates there are way to many infernal mobs roaming about. Special Mobs is actually a great idea I'm surprised I didn't think of that. Lord of the Rings will not be added because the faction bar conflicts with galaxy space. Mutant creatures is a no because animation API (A Core mod) conflicts with AoA. I'm not sure about grimoirre of Gaia likely.
