i plan to make a huge Modpack (with permission from the creators) for my adventure world/RPG and i was wondering.
How Many Biomes can there be in Minecraft?
How Many Mobs?
How Many Bosses?
How Many Items?
How Many Dimensions?
this is deemed important as i have to choose what i put in my modpack carefully, as i want to maximize the experience that my Adventure can provide, but do not know the game's limitations, any and all Legit Information is welcome and appreciated beyond belief.

Well it depends on how beefy your computer is. I myself am using mods that add in a bunch of mobs and am using a custom map. For biomes I would suggest using Biomes o plenty (or XL biomes if that's your preference) as it adds in a bunch of biomes that are quite beautiful ( and those rugged looking biomes are amazing! For items as long as there isn't any conflicts between mods you should be fine. It all comes to whether the mods are compatible. If you want I can give you a list of the mods I use so you can decide which mods to use. Good luck with your mudpack
thank you, i appreciate the feedback since i have such an ambitious project in mind, the reason this came up is that on Youtube this one guy commented that DivineRPG and Orespawn are incompatible because they surpass the 270 Mob limit and i was rather desperate to know of Minecraft's Limits.
oh i plan to debut it with my Adventure Map called DiamondQuest Unlimited, then release it seperately about a week later, also plan on making a tex pack cause some textures i've seen are a bit ugh... if you know what i mean.
ah, great info indeed, thank you for telling me this, thankfully 256 Biomes sound plentiful, with all the dimensions my adventure map will have available.
i do wish i knew the rest of minecraft's limitations though, i'm purposely out to push the limits of the game engine, got a lot of mods picked out already just
one thing you will probably run into is the same that i ran into. Having to many mods that add to many items. Minecraft can only have a certain number of items registered. I dont know the number off hand but i ran into it and had to cut out a few mods that would have added plant life to make minecraft feel more alive for the pack im working on. So you will probably run into that issue as well.

I believe it is 32000 max item ids you can have. But I could be wrong as I have never hit that limit lol

Is this modpack going to be for yourself or is it going to be a public/server pack?

Ahh. Do you know what some of the mods will be?
i am currently writing down on notepad which ones i want, and so far i want a bunch of them, including Orespawn.

The one thing I do know is that biome IDs can't exceed 256.
ok so that means 256 Biomes max?
Game on, Dudes and Dudettes!
Yes, unless you have a burning desire for conflicting IDs causing Twilight Forest biomes to span in the Overworld. Shouldn't be a problem.
