As for Biomes O'Plenty, are there still drawbacks to using it? I like those biomes, and I always feel the world looks less interesting without it. In particular, if I install it and select an RTG world, will I still get patchwork biomes in moderate regions and great expanses of cold biomes? And will I be able to find Ocean Temple, void reeds and suchlike?
Everything will spawn now, unlike before where a few items were missing like the void reeds.
That said, many CrC things are rarer with BoP enabled; also BoP interacts negatively with ESM spawning rules, causes certain biomes to overflow with mobs and others to be completely void of them. It also interferes with rogue android spawning, causing them to spawn in the overworld where they shouldn't, with a high-preference for the overpowered androids.
I've ran into a problem. I'm playing on a revolution 2 version 2.7.5.0 server, and I killed the HEE ender dragon, but the chromiticraft entry didn't unlock, so I can't see or mine spatial rifting dust for draconium. I have the Aerial Predator entry unlocked and have collected the dragon heart and dragon egg. Is there a command I can run to unlock just that one item? I tried /chromaprog but I couldn't figure out the right arguments to just unlock that one. Here's a picture of my book (dragon egg is on my hotbar)

I had to do this once. I'm not 100% sure about this, but it should be "/chromaprog progress 36 true". Probably best to make a backup first (or just be ready to undo it) in case I'm wrong.
Assuming I'm remembering correctly and not talking out of my ass, the progression steps are ordered in this file; assuming they start at 0, "KILLDRAGON" would be 36.

Looking at the code, I think its supposed to put the progression name and not the id, so it would be: "/chromaprog progress killdragon true".
Lower/upper case does not matter, it will be internally converted to upper case

I'm glad you got this solved; it's also solvable by respawning the Ender Dragon using the normal, in-game methods (End Crystals, Temple Calller, Summoning Rituals). The initial dragon is the HEE dragon, subsequent spawned dragons are the vanilla ones, which grant the research from ChromatiCraft.
I like this pack over all, however, i have trouble dealing with the lack of health regeneration in version 3, is there any way i can enable normal "fed" regneration as it works in normal minecraft, or more precisely as it worked in revolution|2

The next update will have either some amount of natural regeneration enabled, or early quest rewards that teach you how to heal yourself.
Now the invetiable question "when is the next update coming"

So impatient...
Now. It's released now.
Also, after testing, I decided to address the slow heal issue by doubling the amount of healing done by food. Not quite natural regeneration, but should speed things up a bit.
So the server I have been playing on recently with version 1.7.10 has seemed to run into some issues. Those of us on this modpack crash to the launcher when trying to connect to the servers Hub. We get a message saying along the lines of: Unable to locate sign at (coordinates): more than a dozen times before our screens turn a minecraft sky blue and the program freezes then resumes at the launcher. So far we have tried to take out fastcraft to see if it would resolve the issue but it has not. Some assistance would be wonderful. The server website is: http://frozensoul.enjin.com/home
How do you regen health in this mod? I'm playing peaceful but can't seem to work out how to regenerate my health. Again thanks
There are several ways; eating food will restore some health, the more nourishing the food, the more you heal. Various potions can be brewed, as well as found in loot chests and bags. There are several magical and technological methods for regenerating health. I'm fond of the ChromatiCraft pendants because they never wear out and work pretty quick, but all of the magical mods feature some sort of regenerative item. You also have regenerative enchantments and technological healing options. Last, but not least, the hot pink ChromatiCraft crystals provide natural regeneration just standing next to them.
I chose to turn off natural regeneration because there are _many_ solutions to the healing problem, and many players overlook some of the great features of many mods that address healing. For example, how many players just chuck the potions they acquire? Those laudanum potions common in the top level of a bunker provide some nice healing, with some temporary penalties.

I don't know what server-side customizations are in place on the frozen soul server, but your message seems to indicate a sign shop, warp sign, or similar bukkit functionality is corrupted -- it could potentially be a couple of mods that interact with signs, such as Practical Logistics or Open Computers. Without a crash log, or being able to reproduce the problem on any of the servers I run, there's not much I can do to fix this, if it's even something I can address.
I've heard several server operators complain about kcauldron and the last couple of versions of Reika's mods, not just in my pack, but this has been happening a long time. You also mentioned 'Hub'. I'm not sure if you meant the server spawn or an instance hub that allows you to transit between different instances of the pack. If it's the latter, the mod that enables this functionality (transitioning between different server instances of the same pack) doesn't work well with Not Enough IDs. Care must be taken by the server operators to insure the ID maps in the level.dat must exactly match across all instances or players will have crashes when transitioning instances.
Does anyone know of a way to disable mob griefing done by mutant creepers? Periodically, one will spawn near my base and eradicate a wall and any machinery that happens to be nearby, setting fire to everything wood, and letting in the swarms of zombies just outside. The config for MutantCreatures doesn't seem to have any settings to disable the block destruction, or set what blocks can be destroyed. I can just disable them from spawning, of course...

Only the vanilla doMobGriefing rule, and I'm not entirely certain that works for these special mobs, but it's worth a try -- of course that would simplify a lot of base defense...mobs would no longer tunnel into your stuff.
One solution would be to move your base defenses further out. An even better option is to create a gauntlet, so to speak. Mobs only pillar/dig/breach because they have no way to get to you. If you create an easy opening into your base and line it with turrets, spikes, etc., mobs will _always_ go that way and die long before they reach you.

You could just disable ESM. It's optional for a reason.

Interesting, mob griefing is supposed to be on? I have had a few creepers blow up near my base in this new world I made without damaging anything; it caught me off guard as I was expecting a big hole but nothing happened. A few zombies have pillared over my wall but nothing has dug into it yet. I'll have to check my settings.
I thought a new world would have reset any settings changed in prior worlds.

Creeper damage specifically is disabled, I believe.

Correct. Other mobs do grief. And technically, it's just creeper explosions that are turned off. The napalm creepers are happy to burn down your fine establishment.

What's the map you are using in the screenshots or is it a save file, could I get a download.
Various screen shots I've taken from different servers, plus a couple that were sent to me.

HQM is no longer in the pack; better questing is instead. As far as I am aware, there are no quests yet...
