I was using recommended witch was set too the latest and I didn't think about sending becouse normaly I don't get a crash by default (without aditonl mod) on ftb packs but I will send you one if I crash. btw while I was typeing I started a new world on v1.0.7 and it worked
Thats good to hear, if you get anymore crashs please report them using the link in this thread
Just starting the pack, (and relatively new to modded so progress is slow as I sort things out so don't quite have an opinion on your poll yet) However thus far enjoying it.
One thing I'm going to need to keep an eye on is Random Things' Blood Moon.. had one while mining yesterday.. caused nearly unplayable lag (even in a safe spawn proof space.) Quitting and restarting Minecraft returned it to a reasonable frame rate so I might have just ran out of ram allocated to java if something has a memory leak.
I Might need to configure it to be either less laggy or to disable that particular feature.
Glad to here your enjoying it! Sorry to hear about the lag, I don't seem to have a problem with the blood moon. Maybe try disabling it via the configs by lowering the chance of a bloodmoon happening to 0.
Its downloaded by the Feed The Beast launcher, from the launcher click the third parties packs tab, then add the "Pack Codes" button to add the code mentioned in the op:
If you are new to the third party launchers such as the Feed the Beast one, it is an alternative to the default Minecraft launcher with support for automatically installing and updating various mod packs. (So you will log into your Minecraft account on the Feed the Beast launcher instead of the Minecraft one.

Just a note if you want to play this on a linux computer with openJDK7: (These tweeks may be slightly different on windows or with oracle java7):
In the launchers Option tab, make sure memory is set to 1.5GB or more for this pack (more may not improve function, but less will slow things down)
In the advanced options window add the following to Additional Java Parameters:
(This makes sure the java garbage collector runs in a separate thread when possible and more continuously. thus keeping your game play smoother.. this is the default of the stock minecraft launcher, not sure why Feed the Beast isn't using it)
Also a follow up to my above comment, the Blood Moon is not in its self slowing down the system. Just when I play for a bit too long things slow down over time, exiting to the title screen and re-loading helps not sure any one cause is at hand.. memory use doesn't change.
I know the mod pack is made for 1.7.10 but does it work in 1.8.3? If not will it be updated because I really want to play this mod!
Yeah its 1.7.10 and i cant update to 1.8+ because many of the mods have not been updated to work with 1.8+, and i wont be considering updating it to 1.8 for a long time.
