Moonlit Siege is a 1.7.10 Hardcore Mod Pack made by the Crystal Alliance. It aims to add few mods to keep it vanilla-like and lightweight, adding very few new items and focusing more on behind the scenes tweaks. This pack is designed to be more difficult than vanilla, but with some other convenient features as well.
There are two core mechanics for this pack. The first is difficulty scaling, where the mobs will gradually get stronger with each passing second. The second are full moons, which occur every 8 days, starting with the first day. During these days, mobs will receive additional buffs and during the nights you will be unable to sleep and some new mobs will appear. The goal of the mod pack is to survival until the end of the 5th full moon on day 32.
There are also plans for a Hard Mode version of the mod pack. This version will use all the same mods and only need an alternate set of configs, which will be included in the main download. Hard Mode will introduce some features that stray further from vanilla to provide a more challenging experience.
Pack Info: Mod List-Beta v0.3 Beta Disclaimer- This mod pack is still in Beta. It shouldn't have any issue and is considered stable, but there are more tweaks planned for this pack.

Notes: World Gen- The game can be a bit laggy on loading world gen, but the chunkgen mod can help with this. By typing "/chunkgen ~ ~ 25 25" you can load 25 chunks in each direction from your current location. FAQ- Below is a FAQ of commonly asked and expected questions about the mod pack.

Glad you like the look of it. If you get a chance to play it, let me know how that goes. I'm interested to hear what others have to say about the difficulty. Personally, I feel it is still rather easy like vanilla, but I am unsure how hard I want to make the normal version when I am planning a hard mode.
And I do plan to let's play this mod pack eventually. Although, I found some other mod packs I'll probably get to before this one. It will be a shorter series in hardcore.
The Modpack works well, however the animals are very boating compared with the increasing difficulty of the mobs I think that the following mod would repair this and make the animals more interesting, it would also work well with the theme of the pack.
You're actually the second one to suggest that XD The mod looks interesting, but I want to keep the gameplay close to vanilla and I feel that would add a bit too much. If I remember right, the passive mobs do still get health scaling and I plan to do even more with them in the hard mode of the pack.
Actually, that is a mod I've looked into before for the pack. While it does add a lot of things, it is still one I'd consider. I believed I stopped looking into because I didn't see any mod pack permissions listed and, since it wasn't needed for the pack, I didn't want to check into that further. Still, it is something I will certainly consider for future packs if not this one.
I've managed to clear my game lag so i'm going to properly test it and i'll try to find bugs in it
luckily I know what i'm doing after checking the configs and looking at the types of textures and classes in the mods
Good job you didn't add Aquatic abyss, it crashes with use in the modpack
Is it weird that hearing a mod is incompatible makes me want to test it more to find out what the problem is? XD
Anyway, thanks for helping test the pack. There shouldn't be any major issues (I hope), but let me know if anything seems out of the ordinary.
It's been a while so I thought I'd post a quick update here. Pretty much, everyone has been focusing on the Untamed Chaos mod pack recently, so Moonlit Siege here has been put on a bit of a hold. The current version just needs more testing so we can decide what still needs to be tweaked. Besides that, and the hard mode configs, this pack is more or less done. So if anyone has played it, we would love to hear your feedback.
