Well...At least I didn't do all the work, I was at the "make the ZSS addon config" stage of development, I'll mind as well finish it though so that I can update it quickly.
Check out my adventure modpack! 25+ carefully selected mods (Not counting Core Mods) and great for if you don't have that beefy of a computer. Plus it has over 2K downloads and counting so y'know it's good. Oh, and fully multiplayer compatible!
There's also the resource intensive version (if you can handle it) for a bigger experience!
Poll extended for another 5 days, after that as a last resort I'm just gonna take a vote in it, it's already gone longer than I thought it would and I gotta go on the 19th this month for a while.
I'm on the replacing side as I like balance, each world basically degenerated into rushing to the currency trader, getting one of each resource, and game set, you won the game.

The poll has concluded with the results being 80% toward replacing Universal Coins with Deconstruction Table! Thanks to all (5?) people who voted!
Therefore:
3.0 - A replacement update! (Decided by the poll which finally had a conclusion.)
+ Added Zelda Sword Skills Addon, complete with no Octopocalypse!
-/+ Replaced Universal Coins with Deconstruction Table.
The resource intensive version got the same treatment, just version 1.7 instead of 3.0.

Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move
How are you doing? which big changes have happened?
I'm doing great!
I'd assume you want a quick explanation as you're not looking in the changelog.
I don't really know how long it's been since you were here, but...
- Zelda Sword Skills addon is back, and universal coins has been replaced with a more balanced alternative.
- Grimore of Gaia is gone.
- 1.8 skin support is a thing.
- Optifine is gone and replaced with Fastcraft, although I just noticed it isn't even in the patch notes, derp.
- Lycanite's Mobs and Dynamic Lights are now only in the resource intensive version.
@Everyone:
So, my curse is at it again, the moment I added deconstruction table and booted up the modpack to test if it works, (it did) it updated...
Next update will be all about...Well, updates.

*Updated NotEnoughItems.
*Updated Deconstruction Table, the latest version is at CurseForge but the MC Forum page is one version behind apparently. *shrug*
Same thing for the RI version, just version 1.8 instead. (Sorry, no banners included.)

*Updated CodeChickenCore, an issue of it being out-of-date should be fixed now. (Thanks to LugiaFanRS for reporting this! Sorry it's a bit late, hope you're still here.)
This update came out for all three of my modpacks. (Both Metaknight's Adventure packs, and Megaman Tech Pack [side project, honestly.])
Well, (technic)ally it isn't out as of this post, but it'll be out pretty soon. (Once it's posted on Technic, it's out, it says about an hour for the regular MK's AP.)
In other news, the spacing for the mod lists and the links to the mods are messed up on the Metaknight's Adventure Pack pages, even though the spacing shows when I edit it and is fine in Megaman Tech Pack... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: Did a bunch more quick fix updates, basically more out-of-date stuff.

oh yay I have to reinstall the whole pack and lose everything yay woohoo
Actually, you'd lose pretty much nothing, resetting a pack through the launcher doesn't lose anything like worlds, it simply re-downloads the pack zip, which would replace:
1. The mods, and Forge.
2. The config files that the modpack download changed.
A good example to compare is if you replaced a game, but not it's save file.

Oh so the config resets itself and so do the controls right
Oh so the config resets itself and so do the controls right
Certain configs, yes, specifically zelda sword skills addon, Doomlike Dungeons, Antique Atlas, and MoVillages configs are reset.
For the resource intensive version it's the same files although Lycanites' Mobs is included too.
Not the controls though, that's a file that you download separately. (Being aware of stuff like this, I made controls, one of the most tedious things to config, not included in the pack itself, it's found in the help pages.)

Crashing from a crash report category thing? Saying the wrong world name? (Testing crafting is the actual name) I...Don't even know where to start.
I'd assume it's some issue with Forge itself, but if it was, a crash on startup would be more like it.
Edit: Reinstalling the pack fixed it!
Check out my adventure modpack! 25+ carefully selected mods (Not counting Core Mods) and great for if you don't have that beefy of a computer. Plus it has over 2K downloads and counting so y'know it's good. Oh, and fully multiplayer compatible!
There's also the resource intensive version (if you can handle it) for a bigger experience!
oh yay I have to reinstall the whole pack and lose everything yay woohoo

What do you expect to lose?
Actually, you'd lose pretty much nothing, resetting a pack through the launcher doesn't lose anything like worlds, it simply re-downloads the pack zip, which would replace:
1. The mods, and Forge.
2. The config files that the modpack download changed.
A good example to compare is if you replaced a game, but not it's save file.

Oh so the config resets itself and so do the controls right

Certain configs, yes, specifically zelda sword skills addon, Doomlike Dungeons, Antique Atlas, and MoVillages configs are reset.
For the resource intensive version it's the same files although Lycanites' Mobs is included too.
Not the controls though, that's a file that you download separately. (Being aware of stuff like this, I made controls, one of the most tedious things to config, not included in the pack itself, it's found in the help pages.)

Just save your configs and you'll be alright.
Thank goodness
