i hope you can help i see you have rewritten the java so that it automatically assigns ram for minecraft the problem is im having some lag spikes when the allocated and used memory gets near 100% as you can see from the image i uploaded, does your new java system keep added ram as needed or is there a cap? from the image i sent im always at 100% allocated ram and the used jumps anywhere from 65% to 100% once i get to anything over 90% used it slows i hope you can help i really like using your mod pack and have added a few mods i like using to it also
mark
Well, 50-80% memory usage is normal - 90%+ is not so normal. (allocated RAM should be at 100%)
I see you're using v0.5.9 of the modpack, which have tested and it does not a memory leak.
it may occur by one of the mods that you added.
try to remove them and try again.
but I am very sceptical about your used memory to be over 90%.
i did try that to start off with but i may have found the issue i installed a mod called version checker. and it lists mods as out of date.
a few are mine and a few are the mod packs if i update the mods packs will it make it unstable ? i am currently updating my mods to see it its one of them
Can you confirm that your "Used memory" (that in the picture is on 66%) got over 90%?
i got an problem with this modpack if i go to any other dimension it start to lag so icant play, could anyone help me please,
(sorry for my bad englisch)
her is qoute of my logfile

Well there is a problem with your save.
A chunk in it doing some trouble with saving.
Maybe you have a buggy chunk loader, or maybe something else.
When did the problem started?
I want to say thank you for what you have done for this modpack i love it as you chosen some quite interesting mods, but i had to put it to one side due to white screens every time updating (which i've used the server file you suggested in a previous post and thank you for checking out my video as well)
I will be back on your modpack soon thou as it's getting more stable.
Just wanted to post to say thank you really for what you have done to this pack and how much time you have put in
The white screen issue is fixed in the last update.
I am happy to say that the closed beta server is up for testers. also I'd want to mention that some of you requested to test on the server but you left no way to contact you, so please send me a p.m also with a request.

A texture pack can cause this to. I see he is using one.

Indeed. good point.
also: A big update to the modpack is coming, just waiting for several mods to update and fix compatibility with the new RF API. it may take an hour, day, or a week. I hope it will take an hour, but it's not in my control.
v0.5.8 is OUT!
full changelog: 0.5.8 - Added the test dummies mod! (named weirdly as "MmmMmmMmmMmm"). maybe you know it from the youtube ForgeCraft series. you can craft it and check on it the exact damage of each tool! very useful. also added the a java version check, that won't let you play if you don't have the currect version of java (7+). fixed the recipe of chisel, fixed the game-exit after adding stuff to your modular-power-suit, updated Forge and more mods. (18 mods in total updated) (07/12).
as no one told me that you want to know the exact mods that I update, I won't tell you! (but seriously, if you want - tell me and i'll change my cool changelogs.)
Boni said it was a reference to a music song called "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" which appears to be a Crash Test Dummy video.

It's not that bad, and definitely will not cause lag spikes.
also if you wish to increase your performance you should install Optifine

When did the problem started?
Please explain yourself better.
Well you should've mentioned it before.
try to see if there's an update to the mod.
if not, remove it if you wish.
The white screen issue is fixed in the last update.
also I'd want to mention that some of you requested to test on the server but you left no way to contact you, so please send me a p.m also with a request.

A buddy on my server keeps getting spontaneous crashes. This error report was created
http://pastebin.com/JzEfNc8f
This is the log for the Technic Launcher
https://www.dropbox.com/s/e1j82k3jkznyoug/Technic Log.rtf?dl=0
The most recent crash happened today at:
19.12 11:25:21[Server] Netty IO #5/ERROR [FML]: NetworkDispatcher exception (That was 1:25pm EST for me)
Let me know if you need any other data.
Thanks!
Probably additional mods caused that.
You just put the liteloader.jar in the mods folder.
edit:
It appears it was caused by inventory tweaks so now it works lol.
Good
