This pack took months almost a year to get this many mods to work together . The pack was made by me to fill a niche of very few people that do love to have as many mods as possible in a pack , and believe me there are a few . Also the only people that complain and have something smart to say like yourself are most of the time the people that don't have the PC capable of running the pack to begin with . I did change several recipes and do everything possible to make the pack hardcore to so its not just another pack . Thank you very much. I am not a 14YO kid who set down and threw every single mod in existence in a pack and upload it not even know if it would run or not aka id conflicts , and such .
I did have a idea of making this pack with a theme and using the Hard core questing mod , but with 1.7.10 here and the shear size of the pack using The hardcore questing mode does not seem relevant in this pack . I will have a future pack with no where near this amount of mods using the hardcore questing mod , and a good theme and story line if you will in the future , but for now the packs I make I tend to think are filling a very small niche of people that have a pretty decent PC , and want tons of mods . I want to keep it this way for a while , because this way I don't have to deal with many people aka kids that don't know what there doing. Most of the people running this pack or packs by me will have a decent PC and most likely be adults .
Oh and thank you for your very kind comment my good sir ! Good day .
Of course you would say that. ID conflicts are no problems for real modpack makers.
Also - "a decent pc for this pack" - 6GB RAM is more than enough, the problem with Minecraft is on the CPU optimization and it's not really good at that. An i5 series would do it, the graphics card suggestion in the OP is so bad, 560 as a minimum? Please amuse me more.
Don't worry about the troll. I can tell you've worked hard on this, just looking at the permissions gathered. (The screenies, OMGrad). I've actually been playing the pack. It's an interesting mix of Magic Farm-esque survival and Madpack level exploration of all teh things, with potential of getting facerolled by mobs. It's clear there's a direction and vision there.
I like the fact you *can* become overpowered with all these tech mods, BUT you have to claw your way through early-game survival to get there. I like the challenge that I need to earn my empire.
Also, I enjoy your texture pack even on other modpacks.
Only thing is with this latest update... anything I break by hand is... broke. Can't gather anything. It's not block lag either. Any idea what's going on with that?

Hello my good friend , and thank you for your kind words ! There are not many nice people left in this world buddy , and I see this on a daily basis in real life . Just have to go on about your life while at the same time I just smile ,and ignore .
What version of the pack are you running my friend . Personally the 1.9.3 version I just released is the most stable version to me , and works wonderful . I have a world I have worked on for over a year and a half and play on it every day Almost with this mod pack . You are not the first though to say there is huge block lag , and to be honest with a pack of this size that is to be expected , but not to the point it is unplayable . Please let me know what version of the pack you are using , and how much ram you have dedicated to it and or if you are running it on the Technic launcher or the multimc launcher . And man any advice you want to give me when It comes to this pack I will take it . Such as letting me know if there are any mods that add the same thing to the game or similar that I can remove . I can take all the help I can get .
Thank you! Crunk
EDIT: I see what your saying now man that when you break things you do not get anything back and such . I am looking into it right now , and hopefully I will have a fix out by tomorrow for it .

I've been messing around with the pack based on the latest changelog, but haven't been able to narrow down which mod is causing this issue just yet. Still working on it.
What I can say is that I noticed you added Battlegear and Single Player Commands. Battlegear is incompatible with SPC according to its Bugs and Incompatibilities section. Also, Battlegear has been known to randomly delete everything in your hotbar when you go to the Nether. I don't know if that bug was fixed in this final version, but I've also had trouble with weapons switching before, so I find the mod too much trouble for not enough reward, personally.
I found out which mod I think and also I know Battlegear is not compatible with SPC thats why i installed worldedit for forge ontop of SPC ,and essentially fixed most of the issues of SPC and Battlegear not working together . It works because worldedit for forge overides all the commands and such from the woldedit in SPC . :-) But me personally to I don't like Battlegear and if to many folks want get mad next update it will be gone . Also I am sure or at least think I removed SPC in 1.9.3 of the modpack man .
Also man I am sorry about not having a change log in the last update . I got a bit lazy . The next update will have one and most of what I changed in the last update if memory serves me correct I will put up to .
Problem has been fixed , and also battlegear has been removed . Update will be out tomorrow sometime . If you guys where wondering why the days and nights where long it is because of a mod I have on there that make the day/night sync with real life time so if it is day/night where your at that is what it is in the game . Thanx crunk

I take it the update didn't make it to the Technic launcher? (That's how I've been playing your pack) If not, that's ok. What was the problem? If it's easy to fix, like changing a config, I can do that.
Congrats on moving on to 1.7.10! Personally, I'd like to continue playing the 1.6.4 version. I am one of those folks with the chunk ticking problems and severe FPS drop in 1.7.x vanilla that Mojang waited til 1.8 to fix. I'd look into adding Fastcraft to your pack for folks with that prob since it helps a lot, but be warned it does have some crashing issues for others.
But that's why I'd like to fix 1.6.4 and keep playing that version.
Fastcraft is the first thing I added to the pack, and man almost every single mod that was in this pack maybe 15 or so are updated. Also with fastcraft this pack is running better then my 1.6.4 pack . I have a mega version of the pack I am about to release that has 298 mods in it and running on 1.7.10 and man let me tell you it is much smoother now in 1.7.10 . I thought 1.7.10 was going to be a version I skip with this pack because I had huge lag to chunk ticking problems you know , but after updating to forge 10.13.1.1217 I believe it is now less laggy then 1.6.4 go figure, and especially when I added fastcraft I would say maybe 1% of the time it lags now compared to the 7-8% of the time 1.6.4 lagged . I ran this pack on my girlfriends shitty laptop to lol 298 mods with just a tiny bit of lag and the 300 mod mod pack for 1.6.4 was impossible for her .
You should give the 1.7.10 pack a run when I have it up ! It will be a hardcore modpack based around black diamonds that are needed for many of the crafting recipes which in turn are the most rares thing in this mod pack. I have a lot of time invested into this so far and really hope people will like this . Over 35 crafting recipes changed so far with minetweaker! I am making a lite pack first with no more then 150 mods and all running under 2 gigs of ram . 1.5GB to be exact , and then I will be basing the mega version off of this pack with up to 350 mods when done , and it to will have a ton of recipes changed , and be hardcore as well . If/When I am done with the 1.7.10 pack I will try and fix the 1.6.4 pack , but if you manage to fix it , and give me the info I will upload the fix for everyone and credit you . I thought I had the 1.6.4 pack fixed but even after removing many mods I still can not find the problem .
Also I would like to know how you feel about a hardcore pack or any one for that matter . Do you guys like a challenge ?

1.6 Should be fixed now. Test it and see , but first on the technic launcher make sure you update .
Tho CRUNK-PAK-LITE modpack is up now ! Just click the big download lite picture , and get it on technic. Remember this is the LITE version of the MEGA version that is the continuation of CRUNK-PAK-BE that will be out soon .

Works perfectly now.
As for what you said about 1.7.x you were right. I went back to some of the 1.7.x packs I was having problems with (Karma, Tolkiencraft, etc.) and got rid of Optifine. Running with just fastcraft and it was smoother and faster than 1.6.x packs with Optifine. So I'm gonna try out your Lite pack as well.
I still want to enjoy the 1.6.x pack for a bit longer though, so I appreciate that you updated it too. Thanks muchly!
As to your question, I don't mind a challenge in modpacks. What sort of hardcore were you considering? Resource management? Mobs? High risk, high reward like Madpack? Something unique and different from what's been seen so far?
Read the about mod pack part on the first post by me to see how the pack is hard . It is not really that hard YET because the main mod I rely on is not working , and StanH is looking into the problem . The one who makes the mintweaker mod . I gave him a link to the mod pack , and I imagine with in a few days he will tell me what the problem is , and then I will have a update out with a few updates and a couple more mods added to the lite pack
Another arrogant A whole who likes to point out the obvious .
