Welcome to MCRealism 2, the updated and improved version of the original MCRealism modpack for 1.5.1! With over 60 mods to make Minecraft not only more realistic, but more expansive. Keep in mind that this modpack has the intention to keep being updated, so some mods may be added, removed, and/or swapped for other mods as I update the mod pack.
This mod pack is NOT SMP compatible! Some of these mods don't have Multiplayer versions, so SMP is impossible! Don't even try!
Here are some features that are unique to this mod pack:
-Body temperature, thirst, and air pollution (EnviroMine)
-Drugs!! (Psychedelicraft)
-You like Chemistry, right? Of course you do! Chemistry is big in MCRealism 2! (MineChem 5)
-With only one form of electricity, industry just got a whole lot easier! (Buildcraft 3 & Mekanism)
-Big trees can be chopped down by breaking only one block! Wood will never be a problem again! (BigTrees & Treecapitator)
-Lots of plants, and they’re all compatible with each other! (GardenStuff, GrowthCraft, & ExtrabiomesXL)
-Finally computers that aren’t dirt cheap! (OpenComputers)
UPDATE 10/10/2022:
I finally got around to updating that damned Google Drive link, so y'all can download again now. Honestly, it's wild to see people still want to use this modpack. I was so close to finishing updating this pack to 1.12.2 back in May of 2019 and I simply lost motivation at the finish line. With constant updates unfortunately it's just not worth bothering now.
Maybe when school is done I could update it to 1.12.2 for the hell of it, but I don't know if that would do any good. Thank you for still playing my modpack after all this time.
Version 2.01: +Added iChun Until, Back Tools, Mob Amputation, Mob Dismemberment, & Torched
+Added CoFH Core & Minefactory Reloaded
-Temporarily removed Tomahawk until it updates to 1.7.10
Version 2: -Updated to Minecraft 1.7.10
+Added a lot of mods
-A lot of mods didn't update
Version 1.2:
+Added TooManyItems
+Added ICBM
+Added Carpenters Blocks
+Added Optifine
*Fixed a major bug with the Galacticraft and Vanilla inventories
*Lag greatly reduced now with Optifine
Version 1.0:
-Created modpack
1) Backup your saves (This isn't entirely necessary, but if you use snapshots or have valuable builds, just do this just to be safe) 2) Download MCRealism_vX.X.zip from the download link 3) Download the latest recommended Forge installer for Minecraft 1.7.10 4) Run the Forge installer 5) Go to the "versions" folder and then to the folder named "1.7.10-Forge10.13.2.1291" and replace the jar with the one in the MCRealism 2 download 6) Place the "mods" and "Flan" folders in the minecraft folder 7) When opening the new Minecraft launcher, set the version used to "version 1.7.10-Forge10.13.2.1291" or use the "Forge" profile
I don't have Industrial-Craft2 in it for 3 reasons: 1) It hasn't been updated to Minecraft 1.5.1 yet 2) I wanted only 1 form of electricity 3) I like Universal Electricity more, anyway; 8 mods under one for of electricity and everything isn't in the shape of a block
I'm making my own mod pack currently and I can't find software anywhere for custom titles and screens. You should post your mid pack to the technic platform that way you can get more people to download your mod pack. Just be sure to go to the main page and scroll download to learn how to make a mod pack for the platform it's a little bit different.
Yeah now it has; I guess I haven't checked. But that's only reason #1, there are still my other 2 reasons that I'm never going to add Industrial-Craft2.

I'm trying that now, but I'm going to make a modpack for my adventure map, and I'm going to make a Modloader version, and I hope to make an RPG modpack as well, but Technic only allows 3 modpacks under an account. So Technic might not be an option for me.

Since I have 4-7 emails for reasons I can't remember I keep making Technic Platform accounts and put a link at the bottom to my other mod packs. Where else can you post your mod pack and get a lot of attention? As far as I know it's only Technic. I hope other people make sites where mod pack creators can post their packs.
WIP mods/modpacks go into the WIP section. I would suggest moving your thread and did you get permission from the mod maker for you to use there mods in your mod pack
I expected something that changes Survival in the Survival way; ah well. I'll add Terrafirmacraft to it myself
Survivalist adds thirst, body temperature, and heath regeneration tweaks, btw. TerraFirmaCraft is a mod I've never heard of. If it's realistic enough and has no block id conflicts, I'll add it! Thanks for the suggestion!
I would love, Modular power suits, forestry, railcraft and thaumcraft
Thaumcraft and MPS never going to be included MPS is completely unrealistic, and Thaumcraft is MAGIC. Forestry has block ID conflicts with Mekanism, and for Railcraft I'm asking ConvertJanguar about it already.
I really would like too install this modpack. It looks awesome! Has anyone gotten this to work using the new 1.6 Launcher?
I have 1.5.2 set up under the 1.6 Launcher, but I am not sure how to install this in there.
plz get back to me soon.
Using the new launcher is a COMPLETLY different setup. Instead of the bin folder, it uses a 'versions' folder. It's much more complicated than the old launcher, so I hope to figure it out one day, but for now just install it the old way and use the old launcher until I come with some newer instructions.
Have you thought about Tinker's Construct and/or Better Dungeons? With those two, this would be the only modpack I would ever play...
Better Dungeons isn't realistic. I don't mean to be rude but don't bother asking me for a mod if it isn't realistic. About Tinkerer's Construct, I looked at the mod a month or two ago and it had block id conflicts with other mods

thanks.
I'll just leave it blank I guess.
Thanks! Also, the Seasons mod is incompatible with this modpack. I already tried. Sorry.
But its missing Industrial Craft.
You can get it here

There's a permissions section right in the thread that shas a link all of the permissions
