Could you make so you would only need to place 1 lock on a chest or a double chest to lock it?
Btw,I luv you're mods, really adds more into the game while still retaining the vanilla feel :3
The Loom's texture GUI is bugged in the latest version for me.
Also, These mods are incredible!
However, I'm not sure I like the lockpicking skills idea, just by itself.
So, heres some ideas :3
Firstly, I like the skeleton key idea, it should be a creative only item so server owners can see what people are hiding, however it should not remove locks, it should just bypass the locks.
But the locks on each side of the block dosn't make sense to me, Because if you went up to a chest, and it had a lock on the opening part of it, then you just open the top of it, somehow, it dosn't seem right xD
Wouldn't it be easier to simply place the lock onto the open part of the chest, then the entire chest is locked? I dunno xD On the skill idea, I feel like that should be a seporate mod with special compatibility for the lockpicking mod, so adding mining skills etc. I also found that i could not access a locked chest even though i locked it, so i have to punch the lock off? For example, on a door, you place two locks on the outside. So now you can't get in without breaking the locks. But if you break the locks and attempt to replace them, the outside of the door is not within your reach, because your now inside, so you can't relock the door? I love the mod, though. It just seems odd to me.
Keep up the good work!

NOTICE: MC+ Loom Mod is buggy. I am working on it. However, some bugs may take awhile because it seems to be compatibility issues with other mods. :/
However, in about a week(or today if I work my butt off), there should be an update for every mod on the list, even MC+ ClayTools and MC+ Blowpipe. So keep watching the page, or follow the topic to get notifications (At the very top).
To mr_boness:
Thank you for your support. The reason why the locks have to be broken in order to open is because of how minecraft works. I will try to bypass this if possible.
As for covering all sides of the block, I would agree. The original idea was to increase difficulty on a door, but once I add in "lock levels", it should solve the problem.
And the problem with entering the door.....I never realized that. Sorry for the inconvenience, that will definitely be fixed.
THANK YOU FOR THE SUGGESTIONS!!!

Random idea
How about a mod which adds a safer way of dying.
When you die with this mod, your items are placed safely into a crate.
Code wise, this would be a chest that cannot be opened full of all your stuff, it can be broken within 1 second with your fist and can be blown up easily, this block will never drop, no matter how it's broken.
When it's broken, your items will come out, as well as a message saying the name of the dead player in the chat. This message is configurable in the config, so people can change it around, maybe even make the crate look like a companion cube and make it say love hearts when it gives your items back.
Just a little idea :3

Hi people! THANK YOU for all your support. Makes me all squishy and fuzzy inside. :3
I am working hard to overcome some of these annoying bugs and crashes(especially the MC+ Loom), as well as adding in new features along the way.
For sure these will be released on the weekend(in 3 days at the time of this writing):
MC+ Turtle Mod
MC+ QuartzTools Mod
MC+ Blowpipe Mod
MC+ Chocolate Mod(the most basic, just a chocolate bar; Will add new features later).
As for the rest of the mods, since they are harder to fix, it will take more time. But the goal is still by the end of the week.
NOTICE: MC+ Loom Mod Missing Gui bug is fixed! Download newer version! (even though it looks like the same version)
To Mr_boness:
Thank you for informing me. I will check up on that.
As for your suggestions about a safer death, it made me think of something really cool and quite similar to your idea. Will be working on it in secret before releasing any info. I will put you in the "special thanks" if it releases .
To 111ivanforlife111:
Thanks for the suggestions! I really appreciate it. However, the candy chocolate isn't that "Minecraft-y" related(I already implemented a Chocolate Bar which is almost similar to this), which is the theme of MC+ mods. But I see where you are headed. PS: Can you put your crashes in a spoiler? like:

It saves space, thank you.
I am having issues with your Loom mod. When I open the GUI it shows up as a pink and black image. I am able to shift click items into the GUI but there is no discernable layout. I ran it with no other mods or resource packs. Not sure if this is a similar issue others wereaving with the GUI for the Loom mod..
NOTICE: If you have problems with the new MC+ Loom v1.0.2, please download again. I am very sorry, but I accidentally posted the wrong files. The new file should work as expected. Fixing textures and crashes alike.
