After a few years in development, I'm incredibly proud to present EpidemicCraft, a mod which adds 8 realistic diseases to Minecraft!
In EpidemicCraft, your world becomes more challenging with the addition of 8 new realistic diseases! Influenza, Meningitis, Chicken Pox, Polio, Rabies, E-Coli, Salmonella, and Giardia now become threats to both you and your animals! Develop vaccines to keep yourself and your pets protected from disease. Your cows can suffer from Giardia, your Wolves from Rabies, and Chickens from E-Coli. Be careful when approaching a village, as those inside could be afflicted with Chicken Pox or Polio. Keep a biohazard suit on hand when collecting samples, and as a last line of defense, some antibiotics and antivirals to alleviate symptoms. Develop vaccines through Petri Dish and egg incubation, purifying samples into functional vaccines. Gain achievements for curing disease and building special equipment. You can even play multiplayer with your friends and try to prevent an outbreak of the Flu at your base!
Some information on diseases:
Influenza is spread both by players and birds. Its symptoms include
Slowness, Nausea, and Mining Fatigue. Since it is viral, samples of the
virus must be grown in eggs in an incubator to concentrate into a
vaccine. It can be spread between players.
Meningitis is contracted 20% of times a player is initially infected
with another disease. Its symptoms include Poison and Hunger. It is
bacterial, so samples must be incubated in a Petri Dish to concentrate
into a vaccine. It can be spread between players.
Chicken Pox is spread both by players and infected villagers. Its
symptoms include Weakness, Wither, and Slowness. As a viral disease,
samples must be incubated in eggs to concentrate into a vaccine.
Polio is spread both by players and infected villagers. Its symptoms
include Slowness and Weakness. Since it is viral, samples must be
incubated in an egg to then concentrate into vaccines.
Rabies is spread by rabid wolves. Its symptoms include Nausea,
Blindness, Strength, and Swiftness. Since Rabies is a virus, samples
need to be incubated in eggs before they are made into vaccines. It can
not be spread between players.
Salmonella is caused by eating uncooked chicken, beef, and pork and
can be spread between players. Its symptoms include Nausea and Poison.
Being bacterial, salmonella must be raised in a Petri Dish and then
concentrated into a vaccine. It can be spread between players.
E-Coli is spread by chickens. Its symptoms include Nausea and Poison.
Since it is a bacterial disease, samples must be grown in Petri Dishes
before being concentrated into vaccines. It can be spread between
Giardia is spread both by cattle players. Its symptoms include
Nausea, Mining Fatigue, and Hunger. Since it is a bacterial infection,
samples must be grown in Petri Dishes before concentration into a
vaccine. It can be spread between players.
More detailed information, procedures, and crafting recipes are posted on the wiki with the code on GitHub. Link here.
This mod should work Single Player and Multiplayer.

Some items from various stages of the vaccine creation process, the Autoclave and Incubator blocks, and some mobs.
I intend to update the mod to higher versions, but I can only work when I have time.
Put it in your mods folder. If it isn't working with another mod, let me know which one and what error you're getting. I can't fix every error you come across with installation if it isn't due to my mod, but I'll try to fix what is caused by me as best as I can.
While I came up with the ideas, wrote the code, wrote up the wiki and did all the texturing, I couldn't have fixed a lot of my errors without the help of the community here. Thank you so much for all your help!

I like the mod
But it still has a thing that I feel strange
1.Infected Villager : Why does it attack and model foot animation is not moving when walking
Can you make it more like the human (AI) when infected instead, It has no difference than the zombie plague, also why can't villager spread disease like player vs player by just walking to it and infects both villager and player.
2.Influenza: I have played DiseaseCraft too .. I recommend you to put Influenza to the zombie too, I mean there is a chance of the zombie attack to infects Influenza disease to the player. It makes sense because a zombie is also human with infection turned to be a zombie so why the zombie should not have any disease at all ?
3.Rabies : There is a case that human infected human by bite so, Rabies should be spread in the game but spreads by hitting other instead of close contact. And in DiseaseCraft, you get hurt when you touch the water. so I think you should add this effect to the rabies
-When you touch the water, you get hurt
-When you drink Milk,Potion,Bottle You get hurt (This is my idea)
