Unfortunately, I'm a pretty new player, and I'm already on 1.12 because I didn't know any better. I'm pretty locked in.
I will join your Patreon if you can get a module for the livestock out for 1.12. Probably not the deciding factor. I can't exactly jump in for a unit of $100 anything. But totally think this is a pay quality mod. From what I can see in issue tracking, it's being implemented really well too.
But it does bring up another point for me. Have you considered modularizing? The overhaul of existing Minecraft animals is a pretty distinct project from adding completely fresh species, and it seems like the new species could probably be broken out by pets (hamsters) vs. wildlife (peacocks) or some other criterion. Releasing a suite of mods rather than a single monolith, even a monolith with some advanced config to turn on and off features, has a lot of advantages.
Also the plea for more features -- sheep sheep sheep! They need a visual overhaul something fierce, and they're the only livestock animal that looks undone. I have a deep spiritual need for sheep with ears and rams horns.

I agree. It would make the world look much more... animania-y, for lack of a better word. Looking forward to coming updates!

Thanks for the kind words
Well, we have been factoring and re-factoring the code to make it easier to add animals and make it easier to scale (on 1.11.2+). Will probably keep to to the monolith approach. We do plan to move to 1.12 soon.
Sheep models and textures are all done. But we are a bit behind getting them in the game.
I have a suggestion. Farmhands, Ducks, Turkeys, Jerseys, and when the sun goes down the animals go into a barn that will spawn naturally in the world, and they sleep there
What did the update add
I can try to translate the mod into swedish
if its not already done^^
where can i send you lang file?
i done it, and checked it twice
Is it possible to drink the milk provided by Animania's cows?

Yeah, I think it tilts slightly now. Needs some more love.
Swedish is done. It's in need of an update, however.
Here's the current EN file: https://github.com/capnkirok/animania/blob/master/en_US.lang
and the current SE file is several updates behind: https://github.com/capnkirok/animania/blob/master/sv_SE.lang
If you feel like updating, please go ahead! Recommend you create a github account (free) and make a pull request with a new version

Me: Can you release a few teasers and a demo for the sheep?
After I update the files I could also do Norwegian if you would like, I study both Nordic languages
if you go to raptorfarians page he posts some pictures of the models https://twitter.com/TheRaptorfarian/status/884172916623069184

wild life would be great also. you know something to hunt like deer and wild game
I really love your mod, the models are made with so much love to details, well done!
I would really like to see dogs in Animania, like in this abandoned Mod : http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2400989-doggystyle-domestic-dog-breeds
This would be great
Please keep up the good work!
