Realistic Torches - Causes torches to burn out after a configurable amount of time.
Nature's Compass - A utility item that allows you to search for any biome's location in the world.
Is it possible to make a non-forge dependent mod? Maybe make an alternative version for liteloader so it won't be necessary to get forge on normal servers?

I will look into making a Liteloader-compatible version of the mod, but I can't promise anything. Keep in mind that unless it's changed recently, Liteloader can be used in parallel with Forge by putting the Liteloader jar file (not the installer) in the mods folder. So for the mean time, even if you have some Liteloader mods you want to continue using, you can use the Forge version of this mod in addition.

I'm aware that you can use both lightloader and forge modloader, the reason I would love a liteloader version is simply the purpose of lightloader, its lightweight. Forge Modloader loads a lot of resources needed for custom blocks etc, but liteloader is just for small mods that don't cause much trouble with for example shaders etc.
That was a bad explanation, I'm sorry for that. My point is: Forge is a bit unneccessary for one very small but useful mod, and may cause people to lag, glitch with shaders and some servers even think you're hacking if you use forge! That's when liteloader comes in, a mod made with just the neccessary commands for small client-side mods like this.
But I'm bad with mods and if its too much effort I totally understand
Can you please add 1.8x support? More than 50% of the active Minecraft players, play on 1.8x ( PVP based gamemodes ) & the notes mod would be useful for them. It will also be really useful for staff members ( since they can review the rules & important stuff in-game ).(I know that the post is too old, & i know that for a fact the developer is still active)

Version 1.8 please? This is amazing!
There won't be a 1.8 version. It was overshadowed by 1.10 and 1.11 long ago. There's really no point in playing on 1.8 anymore.
